Great people, awesome space, "to go" food served in paper/compostable containers, and they will take your reusable mug. We got the breakfast croissant ? for which they substituted the bacon for half of an avocado ? without blinking. They do still wrap to go food in a plastic bag and hand plastic straws, so perhaps something on which to work for the future. Lots of outdoor seating on the side and in front.
Peach smoothie was refreshing, even on a cool day. Local shop vibe is pleasing in the mature Hyde Park neighborhood. Good vibe inside. And always nice to meet an Orange Co. original, too.
Passing through Boise and had to see Hyde Park … so glad we did. We stopped at Java and their staff is so kind and helpful. We tried a variety of things: Thai coffee (yes), cortado (amazing), iced chai (best ever says my daughter) and a mocha with their homemade whip - my son devoured it. Their pastries are mouth watering as well. Definitely stop here if you haven’t yet.
Best coffee shop in Hyde Park, Hands down. The inside is so charming. It’s welcoming to still find a place that practices customer service with a smile. There deck is so great. It’s facing the sun and provides a great view of the shops and restaurants in this quaint little neighborhood . Definitely my new spot.
Very underwhelming breakfast—bland and poorly presented. Soliciting tips at counter but there is no table service by a server. Very cold inside—seemed like no heat was running inside, and on a very cold and snowy day. I guess the fireplace is fake as it wasn’t on either. Big disappointment all the way around on my first trip to this establishment.
Really nice, this was my first time at the Hyde Park location. Used to go to the one Twin Falls.I love that they repurposed an old house into an awesome coffee shop, smells delish when you walk in and the staff was AMAZING!Parking can be crazy so keep in mind you may need to park a few short blocks away, but the walk is totally worth it.Enjoy!
I've been going here for 6-7 years now. It's comforting how little it changes: good coffee, good food, sweet hipster kids behind the counter. Snowmagedon days when I'm the only customer, spring days when the line is out the door--always great.
Great coffee paired with a solid menu of baked goods or hot breakfast or lunch items. All in a quirky cool local cafe setting with cozy indoor and outdoor seating options.
Bowl of Soul! Try it, you'll love it.
Lovely chocolate drinks. And they have a variety of space, both indoor and outdoor. They have free wifi. Outdoor space is generous with a lot of seats. The staffs are attentive and kind but none of them wear masks.
