We had a pretty good dinner. I forgot to take more pictures.The tempura batter could use some flavoring in it, but overall it was a pretty good experience.Their ginger dressing was delicious!The miso soup was a little salty but it was good as well.The sushi roll was awesome (I forgot to take a picture) and so was the tempura.
Okay, so one thing about me traveling is I look for country fried steaks, steaks and sushi. I'm looking for that restaurant away from home.Island Sushi and Ramen, is more about "Ramen and Chinese food" then about "sushi". Their sushi menu only had about 1 1/2 sections, and most were versions of California Rolls. Overall 4 out of 5 stars, quality of food was good, but I just wish they would have more of a selection of sushi rolls. I selected two rolls off their "special rolls". The 'Spicy Seaside' (very tasty) and the 'Ocean Roll' (nasty). Win some you lose some, that's why I write these reviews, so people know.2 rolls and an app over $50, not worth it in my opinion.
Went here for the first time like 8 months ago and probably spent my next 2 paychecks eating there every night for the next month, like I'm serious, they knew my name and my order by heart. Alas, most of us can't eat sushi and Ramen for dinner every night so I have found a comfortable "middle" ground with every other weekend. Seriously some of the best sushi and Ramen around. If you haven't already you should. Just trust me.
I love this place SO MUCH! Best sushi and fish quality in the treasure valley. We dine in and get takeout regularly. I'd recommend not getting a deep fried roll if you are taking out but dining in absolutely they are delicious! If you haven't been here yet this is your sign to GO! :)
The food was ok. Really good sushi. The fried cheese cake was not good. Waited almost 30 mins for it. It came out as a fried tempura cheese cake. Not good. The people there are really nice.
Got off work late and had a craving. Was amazingly good. How often is food amazing. Great customer service and they seemed very happy I was there..I'd go back and I did refer some colleagues.
If you can get past the large fruit flies on the walls the sushi looked really good but the salmon was quite mushy. The other two rolls we had we did not picture but the tuna was minced so it felt mushy also. The tofu in the miso soup was cut so tiny there was hardly any of it. The place was very busy so I am not sure what they were ordering but our food was bad.
First time here. Everyone is very friendly. It has the vibes of a small restaurant with the plating of a big one! The food is so delicious- I had Sushi - and WOW!
They didn’t even serve us .. unfortunately it felt like they didn’t want our business so we got up and left after waiting 10 minutes. There was not a lot of customers and we never even got menus….I wish I could have had the opportunity to try but customer service was poor.
The sushi here was really good and the ramen was fantastic! The only thing I didn't like about the sushi is that there wasn't enough! The service was average but the food was beyond average. Overall I would definitely eat here again!
