Good food, very tasty
Love the food, the workers are very nice.
Hadn't been in about 4 years because their suace use to be this creamy light colored stuff. Sauce is much better now.
We went to Happy Teriyaki - East Boise for the first time last week. It won't be our last. The chicken teriyaki and shrimp tempura plate was delicious and a generous portion. The cashier was very friendly and helpful. So glad we have found a new neighborhood place to eat.
Horrible food that is dry and disgusting. The service is beyond terrible, we had this Wuhan girl cashier who was extremely rude, she also gave a disgusted look when we tipped 20%, apparently she felt we should've given her a $100 tip. We politely asked for sauce on the side, she gave another disgusted look and gave us two tiny 1 oz containers and told us to fill them from the counter. My wife opened her dinner and poured some sauce on it which prompted the Wuhan girl to have a meltdown, she actually began yelling at my wife and grabbed the bottle of sauce, squeezing it while doing so, which squirted sauce all over my wife's new sweater. She continued yelling saying the sauce is for dine in customers only. Fortunately this employee's meltdown / tantrum was recorded by at least two other customers who were at tables. I obtained one the person's contact info and they sent us a copy of the recording, which we showed police upon filing a report against this employee. We're filing a lawsuit against this business for the cost of my wife's sweater. We will never go to this business again unless the employee is fired.
First time here & great experience.Pros; Hannah was a delight! Super sweet, friendly and professional to every customer that walked in as I was waiting.Generous portions of delicious, fresh food. I had the pork teriyaki with rice, steamed veggies, skewer of grilled shrimp, egg roll & gyoza dumplings. I'll definitely be back to try the many noodle dishes soon.I had mine to-go and all was wrapped excellent with all sauces as requested. The interior looked clean and well-stocked.Cons; I felt that the prices were slightly higher than expected and the dumplings were a bit over fried. I'll check next time if I can order them steamed instead. Still deserves 5 stars.
Food is delicious but costumer service from Yun is the worst experience always. She has no social skills and is rude and has no patience with clients.
Orange chicken is tasty. Get the bowl instead of the plate. Costs less but get about the same amount of food.
They're a little slow on their to-go orders! But they are really nice people and they communicate well about whats going on with your order!
This is my favorite of all the Happy Teriyaki locations around the treasure valley. Of the 4 I've been to, this is the only one to have a peanut sauce.I am quite fond of their fried rice. I'll add a good amount of the peanut sauce, and a little spicy garlic sauce-- delicious! Their blended Thai tea with boba (tapioca pearls) is quite delicious as well.Overall it is a bit pricey, but the staff is friendly and the food is consistently good.
