the staff was great and the atmosphere is spectacular:)

Had really great service the server was super nice. I really liked the citrus roll. Pretty good sushi all around only knock I had about it was it needed to be a little colder. I hadn't been in there in years and like that it is bigger and doesn't feel like I am eating in a tiny room. Very open area.

The sushi chef had his own restaurant in the past called Zuttos. I've been a fan of his sushi since the late 90's. The present restaurant, Happy Fish never disappoints. It's cozy and perfect for date night or a fun night with a group of friends.

Great service and amazing food, by far my favorite sushi restaurant!

Best Sushi in Boise, IMO! SO YUMMY, FRESH, AND THE SERVICE WAS AWESOME!

This is our favorite sushi place in Boise. The staff is friendly and helpful. Good to great sushi. We love the Chef's Special, but you should to go at an off-peak time for that, to give the chef time to get creative. (I haven't tried their martinis.) The downside: its small and a bit hard to find. Its behind Ha'penny Bridge Pub and accessible either from Ha'penny or a side door outside. Recommended.

A nice place for Martinis and Sushi!!

Went in for a drink and a bite at 4 on a Wednesday. No drink menus at the bar, and once I retrieved one from another table, it was not impressive and many of my old favorites had been removed. Ended up just ordering two pieces of ikura nigiri, which was nothing special. Sign out front advertises "happy hour" from 3-6, but there are no details inside or on either the food or drink menus. I was charged the full price of $7 for two pieces of rice with some eggs poured over them. Waitress was nice but service was slow because she was also working at Ha'Penny.

Amazing sushi at a pretty good price. Quick service with a nice atmosphere makes this a great location for a dinner or lunch date.

Place was totally empty and it still took over 30 minutes to send out three rolls! The sushi maker (won’t call him a chef) was more interested in chatting up the blonde at the bar then actually making our food. When it arrived there was very little inside the rolls and the flavor was lackluster. It looked like someone forgot about true tempura shrimp as the crust was beyond over cooked. For $40 I expected a whole lot more. Oh, and there are only about 12 total rolls on the menu. We are “one and done” at this place.
