One of my go to places when I used to travel to Boise on business. Passing through Boise on a road trip, so decided to stop. Did not disappoint. Pulled pork sandwich was tender as was the brisket. Could have used some more sauce but I suppose I could have asked for more. Beans were ok but could use a bit of meat to give them a better mouth feel. Large glass of iced tea. Service was friendly and efficient.
One of my worst experiences! It was my first visit to this place. I asked the waitress for a special lunch combo and she showed the last page of the menu. It is written 2 meat choice for 14.99$ I didn't read anything what the offer entails and the waitress didn't tell me anything about having baby pork ribs instead of regular pork ribs and brisket too will lead to a surcharge of 9$ for the third rack baby pork ribs and 3$ for the brisket. When she brought the check after I finished lunch, the total was 28.87$ with tax!!! I was surprised but I paid and after a while I asked the waitress about it and she said there is a surcharge on both meats that I ordered! I talked to the manager and told him the story. He explained the same things again and after knowing that I wasn't aware of the surcharge before ordering he offered to give me back the surcharge amount. But I refused and I told him I am never coming back to your place!
We had a wonderful catering experience with Goodwood. Good food, and their service exceeded my expectations. The servers even helped us cut and serve the cake that we had catered elsewhere.I definitely recommend them for events where you don’t want to worry about serving and cleanup!
Slaw no go, ribs dry burnt ends great. Kinda sad. Glad it was on the company. Djdjjdjdjjdjdjddjdjdjdjxjdjdjjd
The service was great our waiter, Debbie I believe, was so nice and quick. The spinach artichoke dip was so good and the toasted bread it came with was perfect. The burnt ends were tough and dry and the smoked turkey sandwich was super disappointing. I thought it would be turkey like you’d get at the fair in a sandwich form but it’s sliced turkey, something I feel like it could be bought at a Walmart deli. The baked potato was alright, creamed corn was so-so, not sure I’d pay premium price for it next time though. Overall it was a decent BBQ place would probably come back hopefully better luck with order choices next time!
Recommended by hotel staff and not disappointed. Great food and quick service. Chicken tenders were outstanding.
Hard to believe this place isn't in the Deep South. The meats were tender, pulled pork juicy, and the side of mushrooms was hard to beat. And, since this is Idaho, baked potato was fantastic. Service was prompt and attentive. The desert was a bit meh, so maybe skip it when you're there. That does not influence the five star rating though.
Pretty good spot, has a lot of options. Seating is plenty, and the staff are always there to help. Highly recommend their wings!
Everything was absolutely delicious!!It had been months since we had been on a date and Goodwood is awesome at making beef ribs. My fiance had to ribs and I had the ribeye steak. My steak was a bit fatty but that's also what gives it flavor and tenderness. Both meals were the perfect temperature and the taste was everything we wanted and more.Thank you for a wonderful meal!!
A return visit to Good Wood for lunch with a friend. As usual, both the food and service were excellent. My only complaint, a minor one, was that the water had a kind of chlorine taste. I didn't mention it to our server.
