these guys make (hands down) the best pizza in Boise! i look forward to every July, because the habenero pizzas are DELICIOUS! kinda spendy, but totally worth it!
I grew up going to the original locations and Boise locations. We were so excited when they came to Nampa so we didn’t need to make the drive. However each time we go something else has gone down hill. Bad customer service, hairs in pizza, hair and food stuck on glasses, no salad bar, beer wall access removed. We had WAY higher expectations knowing the Boise locations and the company values towards its employees. We will be venturing the the Boise locations for any pie fixes moving forward. Fingers crossed Nampa can get a face lift on customer service, safe food practices and begin to add the atmosphere back to the place.
Crust is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside! Peppers were so fresh and not overcooked. Sauce has a great flavor without stealing the show! Yum!
The staff is always friendly! We always enjoy having a great tasting pizza, and make sure we take an extra one home! Since we live in Canyon Co. Nampa is good, but like the atmosphere of the original Flying Pie!
All of their pizzas are great! Not a single bad thing. I love their Samoan Pizza and also their pepperoni and cheese, simple yet delicious. They have deals on specialty pizzas ( I don't know if it's still ongoing, but when I was there I had this kind if deal) where you buy one and get fifty percent off the next, I believe but can't quite remember, either the 12" or 14" pizza. But overall was an awesome experience, crew are friendly and most especially food's delicious!
Omg the ABSOLUTE BEST pizza I've had in my life !! They managed to make a delicious GF crust that is amazing..Love the ambiance and music choice also.. Will DEFINITELY be back.
Great pizza in the Treasure Valley! A friend of mine turned me towards this establishment with a few very eccentric pizzas his family has been ordering for some time from Flying Pie. Delicious and awesome! Since then I have ordered half a dozen times and all great and consistent. On my last order I was waiting at the bar area, amazing beer selection BTW, and ordered all ingredients to build our own pizzas from home in a few days in addition to their classic pizzas cooked on the spot. That’s right you can get all the ingredients to go with multiple fresh and unique toppings, fresh dough, sauces etc… One of the customers sitting at the bar with me didn’t even know they did this… well hopefully everyone will know now!
Flying pie is a Boise landmark. It serves excellent pizza and has a very unique and good beer selection. The staff is always fun and the atmosphere is great very lively. I have found it seems you either love em or you don't. I have some family members who don't like the flavor of their dough but the piled high topings make em a hit. Ill always keep coming back and if you have never been I strongly recommend going and don't forget to check out the awsome artwork threwought the whole place and the giant aluminum foil ball. If you love your visit don't forget to let the staff know by honking the horn at the door!
The OG location. I still think it's the best spot. I've been going to Flying Pie since I was in high school back in the 80s and it's still delicious. Love the new options. The staff is always exceptionally friendly. The salad bar is fantastic. But the price is now pretty high and the size is not what it used to be. A large is more of what I consider a medium and I know the ingredients are quality and it's always going to be great but the price/size is why I unfortunately only go a few times a year. But I love you, Flying Pie!!!
My only beef is that they didn't have a salad bar, also limited selection of wine for dine in. Otherwise cute little place to stop into.
