The worst burger I’ve ever had! Vanilla malt wasn’t even mixed and had chunks of malt in it, which was not a pleasant surprise. I am pretty sure the burger died 4 times and was an absolute dried out hockey puck and was so small it didn’t even come close to fitting the bun. The fries pretty much crumbled when bitten and had no potato left in them because they were so over fried. I get the nostalgic feel, but the food is absolutely horrible! It wasn’t even busy when we went.
So bummed we went there tonight super busy (no biggie) I order 3 finger steak meals 2 with onion rings and 1 with fries. The finger steaks were so burnt. The fries and onion rings were fine. I'm hoping this was an off night. I'll try again only because I've been going here since I was a kid. But I definitely won't drive across town again. But the staff was super friendly! Food not so great.
Tasty as heck. Their food is consistently great, and the vibe is awesome. Whether you're sitting down out front or driving through, hanging out at Fanci Freez is a good time.You might wait a little longer for your food then a fast food drive thru, but it's always fresh tasting
A Boise icon. Anything ice cream or shake related is fabulous. The flavor selection is off the hook. Great staff. Great burgers. A must try.
I would say all together it's a pretty good place I had a burger there and the burger pattie was really Small compared to the bun which my opinion is meat should be the main part of any burger and they use soft serve for their ice cream which I don't love either.

Burgers and fries were good. Huckleberry burger was kinda dry but normal burger was good.Also the Boston shakes are life changing.
They’re fast and efficient here. They do a solid job of keeping the line moving but not forgetting anything you order (which happens elsewhere when they bust through orders sometimes). Good ice cream, food wise is what you’d expect. Star knocked cause they put 8 pounds of ketchup on their hotdog and that’s just blatant crime.
They didn't put order in with a meal when trying to add fris and drink they tried charging me for the entire meal again and said refunds take 5 business days. Sad today the food wasn't very good either especially for the high price. Not impressed this place has gone downhill
Really need to talk with the owners here.. one thing is to charge for food. Great.. if this is what you charge for.. maybe need to look somewhere else for a hobby.. this is what a hobby looks like.. and to your under paid mis trained staff.. dang huh your the owner.. and I contributed to you staying home while your business dwindles... keep increasing prices. You may have to go back to work soon. Remember your sales are because of growth population and adolescents. Not product and Quality...
