Tacos stacked on tacos. Huge carne list. Al pastor was ok, carnitas was very good (my favorite), chorizo was good and the Chicharrones was spicy and fatty (just like it should be). Good little taco truck with a large menu. Priced well and they have two good types of salsa verde. Both with great flavor. The one called Diablo has a bit of heat to it. Great place to grab some lunch.
The sign literally says, “Best Street Tacos.” It’s not a lie - these tacos SLAP. Moved up to Boise from Southeast Texas, where Tex-Mex is plentiful and there’s a taco truck on every corner. These tacos from El Cavo are comparable to any taco I had in Texas. Authentic street tacos, among other delicious menu items, and top-notch service. It’s not easy to come by a quality Mexican/Taco option in Idaho, so look no further than Chavo!
Food was okay could be better but it was good tho..I got the shrimp and fish taco wish it has more seasoningCash only establishment cash only cash cash only cash only no cc accepted cash only cash only cash only
Delicious! The tacos are great but yhose grilled onions that they include with the tacos are fantastic!
One of my favorite taco trucks. Soooo good. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. You can even grab a breakfast burrito. Make sure you bring cash. And don't forget to tip. It's super tasty and sooo worth the trip.
Legit legit street tacos in Boise!Coming from LA, we've been on the hunt for tacos like we used to enjoy in Eagle Rock and East LA.El Chavo hit all the right notes and brought us back to the streets of LA!Meat - al pastor was full of flavor and not overly greasy; carne asada was seasoned well; carnitas was good but I only had one and wish I ordered two more; adobada was also tasty but same as carnitas. Will need to order more tacos next time. And the sauces are El Fuego... ??Two green and one red. We didn't think the sauces were going to be hot enough. Wrong. We saved the leftover sauce for tomorrow's breakfast! We bought three combos (two x 5 tacos and one burrito combo) which came with rice, beans, grilled jalapeno and cans of soda. Total came to $42 which was just over $10/person for our party of four. While the beans and rice were good, will likely skip and just get more tacos next time.? ? ? Burrito ?
This place is amazing!!!! I got a pork tamale, a beef tongue taco and a carne asada burrito (too much food for me) sooooooooooo delicious ? it's tastes like home (San Diego)Also the rice and beans are super good
Best taco truck in the valley! CASH ONLY though so stop by the ATM before heading here. They have the BEST shrimp tacos!
Their tacos are really good. I have been going here for 3 years. Delicious.
This is a small Mexican food truck. I had a carne asada burrito with all the trimmings. They have a green sauce/salsa that is perfect. Just a little bit of zing to every bite. I'd stop there next time I'm in the area.
