5-Star deli is right! It's been ages since I've been here (their old location) and I've been missing out. We ordered several different sandwiches (Georgioso, Turkey Over Italy, Beef Dip) and they were all fantastic. Great bread, great meats, and when it all comes together, it's all somehow better than just about any deli/sandwich shop I've been to. One additional comment meant to be constructive...bathrooms could use some updating or at least some sprucing up.

Went there for lunch with the family and was highly disappointed. For 3 of us, it was nearly $60 dollars. My sandwich was the bacon steakin’ mushroom. The 5oz filet mignon they boasted was more like burnt steak ends and dripping with grease. Very little flavor too. My dads sandwich had so much mustard on it, that after he scraped the majority of it off, leaving easily 3 tbsp sitting on the side, you could still barely taste anything else. The rye bread on both my parents sandwiches was basically inedible and dry. Definitely won’t come here again. I could have gone to a nice restaurant for the same price and much better food
Out here on a business trip, and I'm so glad I checked this place out! One of the best Ruebens I've ever had and the customer service was great. I like how the inside of the establishment gives you a small town feel and vibe. I'll definitely be going back!
Horrible food not worth it, bread was so hard I had to eat it slow so I wouldn't crack a tooth. A waste of money never ever will I eat their again. Hope I don't get food poisoning from that place it looked real dingy and dirty looking. And to think someone told me this was a great place to eat?
Oh I was so pleased with my sandwich!! I have been wanting to try this spot out based off reviews. Finally stopped in for lunch and ordered Turkey over Italy. This baby did not disappoint! I loved it! This is my favorite deli sandwich I have found in Idaho to date. Thank you and well done Deli George! I cannot wait to try the rest of your menu.
Hard to beat this place. One of the best sandwiches in Boise by far… and I’ve eaten a lot. As our city continues to grow I hope this gem doesn’t lose it’s family-style feel!
I haven’t been here in years. But your restaurant made my grandparents so happy. Ed and Virginia Walton, I don’t know if you guys remember them. They’ve been gone for a few years but I will always be thankful for the fantastic service you guys gave them. You were a major favorite in their small pool of approved restaurants ;)
