Just wanted to say that I had my first cup of Dawson Taylor coffee this morning at The Griddle breakfast restaurant in Meridian.

Very cool roastery love that you can see production while getting a coffee & pastry!

They have great great coffee

Great coffee and great vibes ☕

I ordered and paid for a large drip and received what I later realized was the medium size, which was disappointing, but I was in a rush and didn't have time to go back and show them my receipt. Also, not a fan of paper straws! They disintegrate so quickly and taste bad. The coffee, however, was good.

The location is pretty cool. The help at the bar was decent. I’m a big espresso fan. And I was surprised that this roaster wasn’t really weighing out anything. I tried a single origin roast as well as a plan. They were both a bit acidic. Which tells me there is some dialing in to do. I then went back and visited with one of the roasters. They gave me a full on tour of the location and walk me through a couple of their rules and processes. It was in lightning and I was very appreciative of it. I will go back. They also packaged up a fresh bag of beans for me which have been delightful.

Convent to all the apartments near BSU, friendly service and Dawson coffee is the best.

Yum yum. Amazing coffee.

My team works out of our Boise office twice a month and we typically stay at a hotel nearby, which is great because it is a short walk to Dawson Taylor. First time I had a coffee here I was blown away - they have coffee from all over the world, but the difference is in the flavors. I am not very educated on coffee drinking, but I can say the coffee I had here was so enjoyable, I told my team about it, and now we stop here every morning. They have a small selection of pastries and various toasts - which is fine, but not the reason I come here. I buy freshly ground coffee and bring it back home with me, and I intend to continue this routine for as long as I visit Boise. The other thing - if you're looking for a place to work, yes, there is wifi, but there isn't a ton of space, so just keep that in mind, as if it were to get busy, you would have trouble finding a place to sit.
