This very well may be my favorite coffee shop in Boise. Well priced, nice rewards, great staff, excellent atmosphere. Excellent location.
Update: came back this Friday right when they opened for another cortado. The barista said they had a special mocha cortado so I tried it and holy cow, it was good. I don't normally get sweet drinks, but this was just the right amount of chocolate and espresso to keep it from being a sugar bomb. The barista also killed it with just the most silky milk I've ever had. I also appreciate that even though I was right there when she opened the door, she welcomed me with a smile and didn't make me feel like I was a hassle which people sometimes do.They also have Gaston's croissants here which are bomb. I got the ham and cheese which was so good. Super flaky and buttery. Next time I will get a chocolate croissant or one of their bagels. They seem to have a few rotating options. I honestly am not that impressed by the selection of food here but it's whatever.The coffee here is amazing but I keep coming back for the service. The barista here in the morning is just great. This place is a hidden gem. Make sure you get the mocha cortado.

Very nice owner. We stopped here on our bicycle tour to grab a coffee and figure out a game plan for safely riding out of Boise and the owner actually took the time to help us figure out a safe route. The coffee was great as well!
As someone who has purchased two different coffee makers and had them serviced, purchases a minimum of 20lbs of beans at a time, wired both the old shop and the new one, I was offended today when I was refused service for not wearing a mask, I have had my shots, and carry proof, I have tested negative recently, I still respect everyone’s distance, this is ridiculous. I’m glad your business is doing so well that you don’t need mine.
Did a report in college about Dawson Taylor coffee back in 2004. I'm proud to report that in the 2020s DT is still all good!

I try to avoid dairy and one early morning when was still a bit sleepy I asked for a Turmeric Latte and forgot to ask for oat milk. They were just finishing the latte with whole milk when I realized my mistake and they immediately whipped up a new drink. The baristas couldn’t be kinder every time I go in, but this was above and beyond. I love this cafe and recommend it to all of my friends. Thank you!!
This place is just in front of my apartment. Though I am not a coffee drinker, I went there with my friend and I met with her after a long time. It was a lovely meeting and the coffee made it more memorable. My friend loved the coffee, but it was a bit bitter for me. As I said I am not a coffee drinker, I was very happy with the service and the ambiance.
