I love dairy queen, but avoid this location whenever possible. Waiting fourty minutes in the drive thru today for a chicken strip meal killed any desire to ever return. This is the closest dairy queen to me, but I'd rather drive to meridians location than come here again. It would probably be faster too. Even during slow hours, plan to wait 20+ minutes in the drive thru. The last few months have been getting worse, so I wonder if management changed or something.Edit to add- when I got home, 2/3 chicken strips were popcorn chicken size and my "toast slices" was literally a piece of bread. This is so dumb it's almost funny. ?
Young people have stepped up to fill the jobs so that DQ can stay open. Trainees make mistakes, it's part of learning! The manager kept everything together. We will be loyal customers because we saw how hard everyone was working, and they DID NOT GIVE UP!
Nice Dairy Queen but understaffed. This lead to some customers being rude, but the staff kept their cool and were polite.
Ordered an ice cream cake and went to pick it up. I was surprised to see the place was clean, and the staff was friendly. Super impressed with this location. This is the ONLY dairy queen I will go to. The rest of them have have gone way down hill since covid. Good job guys!
$20 for 2 people. No lids for icecream...Worst food I've ever got from a fast food place... pick McDonald's at least they know what they are doing with a reasonable price
The burger was actually hot and juicy. Employees were patient and nice.
Got the six-piece Chicken strip basket. The food was cold and the cups of gravy were watery as if there wasn't enough so they added water to stretch it out. Very bad. And on top of that the girl who took my order left her mic on and was yelling at a coworker using the "f" word multiple times. I won't be going back. At least not to this Dairy Queen.
Food was fast, hot and delicious!!! It’s actually the best fast food experience I’ve had since before the pandemic!! Friendly service. Everyone on the staff deserves a raise! That was wonderful.
So wanted to treat my son to a special treat for the weekend. Ordered him a bacon cheeseburger meal deal through the dairy Queen app. Go to the drive-thru at my Boise Avenue location dairy Queen and tell them that we have a mobile order to pick up and the kid that I was speaking with informed me that there was a problem with my order and they did not have any hamburgers. And they also had no idea how to refund my money through the app. Okay fine. Surely they could have called me my phone number was in the app, but they didn't it's all good. I get it they're busy. But instead of just swapping out the sandwiches, my son ended up with a chicken sandwich instead of his bacon cheeseburger which is fine, I was quoted a total of $14 and some change which is double what I paid on the app. I told the kid I'm not paying again because I paid in the app. He says hold on a minute, then tells me to proceed to the window and it would be the same price they'll just swap it out blah blah blah. Get to the window and again I'm quoted this total of $14. I almost lost it. I will not be back to this location. It seems to me that if a restaurant is out of a product they should log into their app and update their menu, or call the customer and inform them of this.
