Was waiting for the bus down town on Main and 8th turn around there's this big Burrito on this kid's plate shredded beef and all the fixings Freaking Great♥️♥️♥️
Quite standard Mexican chain food store.
I've eaten at this CV location regularly for years now. I don't know how many thousands of dollars of my income I've spent here. I know that times are tough for many, but the quality and consistency here has gotten worse over the past few months. The portions have gotten smaller and smaller. It seems like a lottery every time I eat here, and I really want this location to succeed because it's an important part of the downtown Boise restaurant scene.I recently went to another CV location while traveling and they were weighing the salads and using scoops to make sure portions were consistent. Please take that as a suggestion!
Like a pricier Taco Bell. Okay but not worth the $12 I paid for one entree.
I won’t be back, but I don’t regret my experience. Food was decent, but I would have liked a bit more of the fresh ingredients on my bowl. Service was super fast.
So not impressed with the service and food. The website pictures are inviting, but the final product doesn't look anything like the picture. I don't eat rice, and when I asked for a burrito that was the first thing put into the tortilla. I said, I thought the rice was placed on the outside and was told its by special request. There is a disconnect between ordering food and paying. The cashier didn't have any idea what I had and asked if I got the special. I asked what the special was a she just shrugged her shoulders. My friend's salad was overcharged as a bowl and we spent 10 minutes talking about the mess up. The food lacked flavor and because of my 1st time experience,I'll never go back.
in relation to Cafe Rio - Costa Vida is like pre packaged/watered down version - 6/10 quality at 9/10 the price but also 7/10 the quantity of Cafe Rio. I eat here only because eating a salad for less than an arm and a leg is impossible otherwise. No further questions.

They've gotten really stingy lately with ingredients. Tiniest burrito I've ever seen before.
I love it every time I come! A sweet pork salad is a must!!
