Cold Stone Creamery located at 7546 W State Street in Boise is in dire need of training their staff to be more productive and improve their work ethic. I also would suggest that the parent company perform a quality control review of the products being made at this location as the ice cream is terrible. I walked into this establishment at 7:00 p.m. on a Tuesday. I noticed that there were four staff members just standing around talking to each other. Obviously they were not busy. I placed my order for ice cream in a waffle cone. I was promptly told by the employee that they were out of waffle cones. I offered that maybe they should work on making more. The cashier looked directly at me and responded, “we’re busy.” I looked around at the other three employees who were still standing around talking to each other and goofing off and then looked around the store to see not one customer. I smiled, and paid for my ice cream and left. The ice cream was terrible. I’ve never had ice cream that tasted so processed and artificial with its flavor. The ice cream immediately went into the garbage. Needless to say, I won’t be going back. There are so many places to get better tasting ice cream where staff prioritize making waffle cones in Boise and Meridian.
I live in Washington and have place orders here and other Cold Stone Creamery’s often. I’ve ordered birthday cakes for family to be delivered since I’m in a different state. I selected a specific time and I have a copy/pic of the time selected. Well it is going to be delivered an hour later. As soon as I seen this I called the store. Not even with an 8hr notice could they get this fixed. Im assuming it’s due to the time difference, but I selected the time I wanted it delivered in Boise..anyway, not even with me calling right as they opened could I get this corrected. Disappointed…
Do to a staff shortage there was a mix up and our birthday cake didn't get made. We were given a voucher for a new cake and some extra free cone coupons.
What happened to two for Tuesday? My sisters and I were even talking about getting the like it size in front of the associate mentioning it’s two for Tuesday and then when we got to check out and he decides to mention that the deal is no longer active since “January 1”
After watching Sami touch my food with bare hands, not just the scoops, touching the actual mix ins with out washing her hands or using gloves…this’ll be my last time here. I’m scared to think of what happens when I’m not staring at her making my food. Disgusting & unsanitary.
Ice cream- 5 stars it was wonderfulService- 5 stars the staff was nice and funEnvironment- 1 star. I had planned to stay and enjoy my treat with my child, the "music" (more like noise) was so loud we couldn't hardly hear eachother to even order our snack. We both decided to leave and eat in the car because it was not at all enjoyable in there and we wouldn't have been able to socialize.

WOW!! Kids were thrilled with the experience. Loved the cheesecake and blueberry's.
Ice cream is always great as it is at any cold stones, but the employees are always incredibly rude and rush customers. Started doing pick up orders to avoid the customer service but they still manage to be rude for a pick up in an empty store with no other orders.
