To say this is the best buffet I've been to in Idaho isn't saying much because I've only found 2 other places that do Chinese buffet and they weren't that great. However, every time I go the food is always pretty fresh, good selection, and good service. I prefer the one in Nampa but the one in Boise is good too. Solid choice for when you're Really hungry.
My family of 3 was disappointed. We are weekly fans of China Buffet. The same foods at China buffet are far superior in flavor then at City Buffet. City Buffet had plenty of customers so maybe it's just us. I give 2 stars for cleanliness and atmosphere. The price was more then what we would spend at China Buffet (old reciept). We unfortunately will not be returning.
Not entirely sure what I expected but it was terrible. It’s probably one of the better sushi I’ve had at a buffet. Still not good. I did not feel amazing after eating here.Great service.
This afternoon my family went to city buffet for some Chinese food and left with a headache. This restaurant was once a nice place, but not any more. We were seated between 2 groups that must have thought it was a competition to see whom could wear the most axe body spray. The majority of the customers in the restaurant have no sense of common courtesy. Three times I had someone reach over my plate at the buffet to grab something. Several of the dishes that should be hot were cold and had been sitting there for quite some time. The price has gone up significantly. For 2 adults and 3 small kids will cost you $80. If you want Chinese I would suggest finding somewhere else unless you want a poor experience.
It was okay. The Mongolian BBQ was the best part. Otherwise it was your typical, over fried, sitting under a hot lamp, way over sauced, don't eat the sushi Buffet. I give them 4 stars because they made my 5 year old feel special on her birthday.
Solid 3 stars. Food was just alright, however the booths and toddler high chairs were dirty and when the waitress saw that the chairs were dirty with crumbs she just brushed them off with hands onto the ground rather than grabbing a sanitizing towel. It was around 5pm on a Monday, and 2 of the 5 soups were half empty and the other three were gone, i would expect all the foods to be fully stocked and fresh especially at dinner rush. Staff were very friendly just wish i saw them actually using disinfectant or sanitizing liquid when people left there booths like it says they are required to do.

One of the best buffets I have been to. The food was good, the presentation was good, the service was good and the price was right. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.
