Can’t leave zero stars… By far the worst pizza place in the valley, which used to be the best.We waited over an hour for our order. Which usually isn’t a problem for us. But our WHOLE order was wrong. Incorrect pizza/toppings, missing our sides. Once we got passed the busy signal on the phone, the guy on the on the other end had no compassion for making it right with the customer. We’ve run into multiple issues with this location over the last few years. This one sealed the deal for us.Will be taking our loyal business elsewhere.Update: they brought us the “correct” order and it’s still wrong ? so done
This store has gone seriously down hill..right after the overland store did. Orders are NEVER correct..pizza is either burnt or doughy and it takes them forever. Last time we ordered they said 25-30 min. We showed up in 20 min and still waited for 35 MORE min. Just to be given a pepporoni pizza when we ordered Hawiian. Check your order before you leave. I live up by the old overland CC and will go all the way to the one downtown before I ever go back to the Fairview location. and this is pretty sad because Chicago connection used to be the best pizza in town and Ive lived in Boise my whole life ?
9/10 this place is great. I had a bad experience maybe once or twice but thought I need to update my review from 2 years ago because it really is good for the most part. My husband and I order here A LOT. So that says a lot. Lol
Tried this place for the first time tonight - Best pizza I've had in a while! We knew the delivery times are long, ours was over 3 hours. The pizza was pretty cooled down, but tasted FANATIC after reheating. Full flavored ingredients, delicious cheeses and looked appetizing too.The delivery driver was friendly and polite, apologized for the extended wait time.I will definitely order again, but not for delivery.
Eat lunch here once a month. Pizzas are wonderful and the young lady hostess is wonderful. She recognizes me now and has my order memorized. Service is quick. Order is perfect everytime. Dining room has rarely been closed during the pandemic.
The gluten free crust was just amazing!! Truly the best I've ever tasted. Great, friendly service and delicious pizza. I can't wait to go again!
Delivery occurred 40 minutes late and my pizza was burnt like it was sitting in the oven for like 4 hours not even edible and then they said I might have to wait for my refund
Chicago Connection has been my favorite pizza place for years. I ordered one pepperoni pizza on 12/31/21, it took over two hours to have it delivered and it was old and chewy. I won’t order from the Fairview location again any time soon.
The pizza was cold and hard to chew. The lettuce on our pizza was completely brown and it took 3 hours for our pizza to be delivered which I feel like is probably part of why our pizza was so disgusting. Overall super disappointed. This had always been one of my favorite pizza places, but the quality and customer service has really gone down hill. Won’t be ordering again.
Unfortunately I think we are done with Chicago Connection. They just don’t seem to care anymore. Prices have gone way up and service has become horrible. The last time we ordered it took 2.5 hours to get our food. Don’t bother calling because the line is always busy. It took 32 phone calls to finally get someone to answer. When the pizza did finally arrive, it was the wrong order.Guess what, the line was busy yet again. It took a total of 4 hours and 50 phone calls to finally get our correct order.I decided to give them another try tonight.I ordered one pizza and a side salad. I was told it would be delivered in 60 minutes. It’s been two hours and no pizza. And yet again the phone has been busy for the past 45 minutes.UNACCEPTABLE!We will be finding a new pizza place.UPDATE: after 36 attempts of calling and getting busy signals, I finally reached someone. I was then put on hold for 13 minutes while he tried to locate the driver. We are now at 2 hours and 15 minutes and no pizza. It was literally ONE pizza and we live 5 miles from the store. After some haggling back and forth, I did finally get a refund. The driver did finally show up. The first words out of his mouth were sign this, as he shoved the debit card receipt in my face. When I told him I had spoken with management and he wasn’t charging, he said again that I needed to sign. I again told him that the Mgr said it was free because it had been over two hours. He muttered an explicit and gave me the pizza. Flipped me off as he walked away. The pizza was cold with rubbery cheese and a soggy crust. While I realize they are short staffed, this is about the fourth time now that it has taken forever to get our pizza and you can’t get anyone to answer the phone. As well as the quality has gone down. This isn’t a staffing issue. This is a management issue.Communication goes a long way. Perhaps when you tell a customer their order will be delivered in a hour, and you are unable to keep that promise, then call the customer, let them know the issue and offer to make it right.
