Bland and tasteless food. Salsa was canned.Odd service, several waiters standing around with no apparent jobs to do, let alone waiting on tables (vacuuming the carpet around my table while i'm eating... really???!)High prices do not reflect any quality.Nothing to report here. And no reason to return.
Best taco salad in Boise! The family-owned atmosphere they advertise is definitely there, the food is excellent, and the staff is always friendly. I'm very happy I live right around the corner.
How can you not love this place? ?Yummy, scrumptious homemade food served by the most amazing staff! Order the grilled onion and cheese enchiladas you won't be disappointed! Or get the picadallo filled chimichungas! Oh & definitely get the Roy Rogers... For you youngins that's a coke with real grenadine ?
We ate here today for the first time. The place is clean and nicely decorated. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We shared a 3 item combo of tacos and cheese enchiladas and the portions were extremely generous and very delicious. We loved the chips and salsa as well. Crispy and light, and they also had a great mild salsa for my wife. Our new favorite.
I'm giving this place 5 stars because they have incredible Mexican food. Fresh, authentic- not batch made or thawed. Terrific service. Watch out for the salsa - it BITES! So good! You'll enjoy your dinner if you like Mexican Mexican food.
My husband and I decided to try a new place. My food was cold and very bland. I was unable to eat it. Our waitress and the manager were not too happy about my honesty; however, I still left a generous tip. Won't be going back.
Super bummed! Ordered through Uber eats, which I love. I ordered Nachos with chicken… By the time I got my food the chips were completely soggy. Wasn’t impressed at all. Love the salsa as always though :)
Food was mediocre at best. The first time we tried to eat there we were turned away. The open sign was on and it was about 20 mins before the restaurant was suppose to close but we were denied a seat. Nevertheless we returned but will not be going back. My taco salad was not very inspired. It lacked flavor of any type. My husband's cheese enchiladas tasted like fish. Chips and salsa were good
Overall, I was not impressed to say the least. The food was ok but definitely nothing that would make me want to go back again. The service was so slow. We went on a Saturday night. The restaurant had plenty of open tables and many continued to open while we were there. We sat and ate the chips, salsa, and bean dip. Service was so slow that the waiter brought up a second portion. I had a blended blackberry margarita. It was ok but there was too much ice and hardly any margarita. The waiter was nice but his attentiveness could have been better. We asked for waters as well. We finished one glass and then the glasses sat empty until finally he brought us pictures of water. When food did finally come out the waiter had to tell us each that the plates were very hot. I have a six year old and was worried about her touching the plates so I pushed it away with a napkin. It was still hot through the napkin. We had three to go boxes and a bag to put them in would have been nice instead of having to ask for one. There was a group of us and asked to have the bill split. The waiter could not figure out how to do it so he asked for our cards one at a time. Apparently the management needs to train their employees better.
Was in Boise for business. Went in to grab a quick bite since i was early, while I waited for my associate. I was seated and placed my order then my associate called and said he was at the meeting place. I had to leave, now. I asked the waiter if he could hold my lunch for a bit while I took care of business. He obliged. Igot back and my table hasn't been touched. My food came out in just minutes, hot! Excellent service and pretty darn good food too. I had the steak picado. If I'm back in Boise I'll be sure to visit again.
