Best spot for breakfast In Boise

We were in a hurry to drive home from a long memorial day weekend, from Idaho to Washington, leaving early and trying to find some suitable place for breakfast. we dialed and we had this restaurant on our way, we chose it solely by the Google rating of visitors .. and I'll tell you. we really liked it .. honestly when we arrived, from the outside this restaurant did not inspire confidence .. but everything changed when we went inside. a very polite and pleasant girl was our waitress, she politely patted on the shoulder of all her regular visitors, it was nice to watch this, very at home, like everything, warmly. I also liked the food. sorry vegetarians))) I always order Vigan Benedict and ask for meat in it... and in this restaurant Benedict was perfect

If you're looking for a local diner experience, this is your spot! Friendly staff and quick service. The space is pretty small, so get there early. Everyone raved about the biscuits and gravy, but between that and the Capri special, their English muffins were the star of our meal. Probably won't be back with all the options in boise, but it definitely met our expectations for a small diner ?

Went here on recommendation of my son-in-law and people he works with. 6 of us (4adults and 2 kids). Son-in-law ordered 1/2 order of eggs benedict. it was huge! I ordered a standard breakfast (eggs, hash browns, chopped steak and English muffin). It was all I could do to finish it all. This was partly due to helping everyone eat the plate sized huckleberry cinnamon roll before our food came out. Egg cooked perfect and the chopped steak was as well. I will say parking was kind of funky as you are sharing the lot with a motel.

Exceptional biscuits and gravy!

If you love biscuits and gravy then this is the place to go if you are ever in Boise ID. I have had biscuits and gravy in various restaurants all over the country and by far and away, hands down, without a doubt these are the best I have ever had. The biscuits are big, light and fluffy, there is not a lump to be found in the medium thick gravy and they come in 3 various combinations. I recommend the loaded special. The staff is very friendly and the service is quick. I wasn't in my seat more than 10 minutes before my plate was in front of me. Nevermind the 5 stars, This place deserves a 10/10.

This is everything you want in a diner. The 80s burnt orange booths with the wood paneling are warm and nostalgic. The servers are friendly and easy to talk to. The food came out at the perfect time after we had settled in, and was great. Over all we had a great experience.

I had heard great things about this diner so I was excited to eat there. I finally was able to check it out this week I was really disappointed over all. The only positive was the waitress/cook were friendly. It was hot and stuffy and uncomfortably humid in there. The food was cold, and looked and tasted like it had been sitting there for an over an hour. The biscuits and gravy where cold. The entire meal tasted bland and was nothing special. AND it was really expensive. 40$ for 2 breakfast plates. My client said it looked and tasted like the breakfast at Ada County jail. I won't be back.

Small inside but staff handles crowds well. Cowboy potatoes sounded amazing so I had to try, but they were very disappointing. Had a strong vinegar taste, not at all to my liking. Charged extra for side of salsa which was surprising. We'll continue to visit Capri in Meridian. Better atmosphere.
