My kids had a craving for curly fries and I wasn't feeling Jack in the Box. A friend of mine had told me about Boise Fry Company so we decided to try it out. I ordered a small order of curly fries and two kids hamburgers for my little ones.I also ordered a classic hamburger with the russet homestyle fries and my wife ordered a turkey patty on their Quinoa salad. It took well over 30 minutes to get our food. The curly fries were a clump of greasy, burnt mess. You know when a 7 year old spits out fries that it is a lost cause. My fries were tasty but very greasy. The burgers were cold like they sat on the counter for 20 minutes. They had no taste as they had not been seasoned. You can not season a burger after it s been cooked. I understand not salting their fries since they have quite a selection of flavored salts. I asked them to replace the curly fries with regular fries which they did but they were still greasy. My wife's salad was pretty sad looking and the turkey patty had no taste.I don't understand the 4.5 average rating for this location. Maybe I caught them on a bad day.I don't think I ll be back.

For two burgers with fries and a beer it was $50. The store wasn't kept up and we had to work for everything. We were about 7 minutes early for the "Happy Hour" which means we payed about $12 more than we could have if we waited about 10 minutes. Granted they were bison burgers so it was a bit more and everything tasted fine, I'm just not sure it was worth "dine-in" prices for something we did all the work for.

June 2022- Ordered bacon on my burger. Paid for bacon. Did not receive bacon on my burger. Not even busy, plain incompetence everywhere. Everywhere. Cannot ever order anything from anywhere and have it actually be correct. Over it.July 2022- Gave them another chance. Unfortunately, I prefer my burger cooked.

Good, but there's room for improvement. The good: The fries seemed fresh. I love that there are different types of fries, seasonings and dips. (I wish they had a fry sampler option). The burgers tasted pretty good and I appreciated that they have different meat options. They have gf, df, and vegetarian options. The gf bun tasted good. The not so good: The burger patties were kind of thin and small. They gave us a beef burger instead of the bison one we ordered, forgot our quinoa salad then prepared one with wilted and mushy lettuce, took an hour to get our food, the bathroom line was really long, the sauces and seasoning selection was just ok and containers low or out. Will come back again to give them another shot because they seemed super busy and it was after a holiday weekend so maybe they were just off their A game?

I love french fries. This was our first trip to BFC at Bown crossing and was a $100 learning experience. We had 4 burgers all were cold. $25 worth of greasy limp fries were horrible! I love french fries and these were the worst I have ever had. You would think a place that is supposed to specialize in fries would have a clue. The table we ate at was covered in grease and sticky. I had to go get a towel to clean the table. The flavored salt shakers were all greasy. Everyone in our group had greasy stomachs later in the evening. Save your money and eat somewhere else.

The bison burger was pretty good I’ll give a 7 but the fries were very underwhelming I’d give them a 2. The garlic sauce and ketchup helped. I’ve eaten quite a few burgers, this spot was mediocre at best. The people working were awesome. A pic of the fries, they were pretty soggy, had no flavor and were crazy dark.

They aren't carrying purple fries that I wanted to try but apart from that the veggie Burger is great! There are a lot of sauce for you to try and the seasonings are great as well. I personally loved boise fry sauce and Chipotle sauce. There are seasonings available so make sure to season your fries.

We eat here 1-2 times a month. Always takeout, since the pandemic. I prefer the fries with a thicker cut because they're often softer and less greasy. Russet are my go-to fry but they're all equally delicious, in their own right. So many options to choose from in a variety of cuts: red, purple, sweet, golden, etc... all good!We eat the black bean and quinoa burger (my toddler loves the black bean burger, too) but they offer so many other options. They have regular burgers, 50/50 mushroom and meat burgers (which is pretty unique to BFC), and they even have bison burgers. I can't comment on the taste of the meat burgers but it's pretty cool they have so many options.I like the original over the classic burger. The original comes with pickled red onions that really make the burger special. They also have a yummy mixed green salad with those delicious pickled red onions.Another favorite is the fried brussel sprouts. They're pretty greasy, but what do you expect from fried food? Finally, the variety of dipping sauces and salts are incredible! My husband loves the Jalapeño ranch and my favorite is the blueberry dipping sauce. Weirdly good on fries.

Love the variety of potatoes they have to offer. I like the sweet potatoes..with the fungus. It's 70 percent beef and 20 percent mushrooms. They even have specialty salt with cricket powder in it.

We were looking forward to our first visit to Boise Fry Co. in a number of years. We purchased two burgers and the Borgeois fries. The burger choices were creative and we liked the hand-formed burger patties. The real disappointment were the buns, which fell apart while eating the burger. We also found the buns to be dry and tasteless, and not a suitable accompaniment to that quality of a burger patty. They tasted like the mass-produced ones you get in the supermarket. Burger was B+ Bun was C- My wife ate half her burger and said "I don't think I'll be going back there anytime soon."
