Biking across the country needed some bike maintenance so headed to bikes and beans for a repair and coffee. They were just opening the bike side so I went ahead and ordered an Americano while I waited. As they made my Americano the bike mechanic asked what I needed and took a quick look. I had a broken spoke and he said it would take to long to do while I drink my coffee and it would be 4 days until he could get it fixed. I explained to him I was biking across the country and didn't have 4 days. Didnt matter he wouldn't help me out. I was bummed out but atleast would be able to enjoy a good drink. It was the worst Americano ive ever had. Undrinkable. Took 3 sips and asked my girlfriend to try it. She asked if I got tea. I've never not finished a cup of coffee. Went to another bike shop where they had me back on the road in 2 hours. Concept is good. Execution not so much.
The bike service dept at Bikes and Beans is excellent. I came in to have my brakes looked at and the gentleman that helped me was very helpful, friendly, and professional. He told me that my headset was loose which I didn't realize and I was glad he noticed it.My bike was done earlier than expected and my brakes are awesome now.Thank you!
Great little coffee shop. They have a few espresso varieties you can try which is so cool. I got a cortado and experimented with the fruitier of their roasts (I can't remember the name) and it had a bright, clean flavor. The barista knew a lot about coffee and talked to me about how they choose their roasts and I appreciated that she was so educated about what she did. The space is cool and has lots of places to sit and hang out. Overall, one of the better coffee shops around.
Looking for coffee on our way to the airport, we took a chance on this place. We were greeted by the friendliest people and the coffee is fantastic! Take a chance…go there! You won’t be disappointed!
When I want a really good espresso drink, I drive across town to Bikes and Beans. They brew on a Synesso and spend the time to make every pull perfect. I’ve often seen them toss a shot that didn’t come out to their exact specifications. And you can taste the difference.
The best coffee in Boise, great flavors, big variety- Super nice competent people.
Was on a long road trip and consumed many cups of coffee. In the 1500 miles, I traveled this was the best cup of coffee I had. The staff is very friendly and this place is unique.
Awesome place! We stopped in to enjoy some coffee and check it out for the first time. They had a comfy area to hang out, delicious coffee drinks, and super friendly staff. Great selection of bike equipment and they sent me home with a plant cutting! We love this place and definitely will be visiting again.
Good coffee. Good bikes. Good vibes
Combining my two favorite things. Coffee and bikes. How could I go wrong? My barista was super friendly, and I even got to pick what kind of espresso I wanted in my americano. That was a first for me. If I lived here this would definitely be my coffee spot.
