The aesthetic was fun and cute, the food and coffe was amazing. However, the short man who served us was rude and seemed annoyed. The worst part was, he was being -very- loudly rude to his coworker Steve (who was so nice), insulting him in front of customers and making people feel visibly uncomfortable. The service he gave us was really contradictory to the atmosphere.
I’ve had nothing but positive experiences here. My partner and I go a few times a week and all of the staff are friendly. I love the overall vibe and decor with the addition to the lovely jazz music I hear playing some mornings. The drinks are great, the bagels are crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and taste like they were made with love. The cream cheese is delicious, too! As an NYC native, I’m all about packing on that cream cheese. I look forward to trying everything else on the menu. I also appreciate their efforts in keeping people safe during the pandemic and explicitly state their stance on inclusivity as you walk in.
We enjoyed this place. The cook and staff were fun and nice. The quiche and lattes were wonderful. Space to stay apart from others if needed.

I love the brownies the quiche is delicious the everything bagels are everything the morning glorys are life the bees knees honey lavender latte and dark & spicy mocha are my favorite.
Delicious bagel sandwiches, nice roomy dining area. Also, this has felt like a very safe space during the pandemic as it's easy to distance yourself from no other diners and masks are required for entry and ordering. I appreciate that the owner cares about the community.
Alia's Coffe House never disappoints. Coffee is always hot ( actually I get a Chai tea) and my bagels are always chewy and good. I like the sun dried tomato spread on mine. The service is outstanding. I'm always greeted with a smile when I enter the door. The outstanding food and excellent service keep me coming back.
Friendly staff, great food and a small locally owned business that deserves support during a pandemic! Love their quiche and the coffee is perfect!
Love that such high quality people serve great products and still care about the health of their community. Going to be childish about wearing a mask for a brief period of time during a pandemic? This is a wonderful place that not only has fantastic coffee but they truly care about others. If you're ever in downtown Boise, stop and have a coffee or one of their delicious bagels!
