If you're in Waipahu area and craving for authentic Filipino food. This is definitely a place to go.
They have the best pilipino food in town, we tried other places and we found this place the best…service is excellent. We ordered the Thelma’s special lechon kawali, adobo fried rice and banana lumpia. The lechon was crispy it was just perfect. Would definitely bring my family and friends here.
Best sisig that I've had in a while! Highly recommend if you're craving Filipino food, and the service was great! Maraming salamat!
The quality and quantity of the food is very good that place is always busy. The waitresses is always nice. If you like Filipino food I highly recommend this place
Pork chop eggs and pancake under 11 dollars... no can beat
How can you not love Thelma's?! It's old school, good ole Filipino grub and if you like Filipino ears then you'll like Thelma's! It's a no frills kind of joint. Very affordable for the portion sizes.Services can be slow at times but not their fault. I think it's due to the excessive amount of call in orders that they receive. But the workers are so nice and sweet, you can't possibly get mad at them. Just have some water and know when your food does arrive you will be doing the happy dance. Seating is decent. We've never really had to wait more than 15 min for a table on the high end.I always get the 3 choice, going with pansit, Thelma's special and pork adobo! OMG those three items make my mouth jump for joy! The flavors are great. The adobo is so tender and juicy. Thelma's special is so nice with the tomato and onion and crunchy lechon...mmm making me hungry just thinking about it. And pansit is pansit, just done forget the line and you're set!Although it's located in a pretty large strip mall, parking can be an issue sometimes. I guess because there's just a lot of good food throughout it. We love Thelma's and if you like Filipino food that doesn't break the bank then you too will enjoy your visit!
Love Thelma's special!!! Halo halo was awesome too! They have affordable price and the staff are very friendly :)
Finally got to try Thelmas last night, and we weren't disappointed. My wife was born and raised in Northern Luzon province in the Philippines, and she said this food was like what she would be able to get back there. The entrees were perfect size, and super tasty. Will definitely be going back again.
Great Pork Adobo fried rice with egg. And sari Sari soup
Good Filipino food, price, and dinning room. Love, this Waipahu hideout.
