I am really surprised about this Pearl's Korean BBQ located in the Waipahu Shopping Mall next to Longs. I have been to other Pearl's BBQ (Kapolei) I have to say this one surprised me. The place was very very clean..I have been to the one in Kapolei, and their restaurant was dusty and the floor was not so clean...This one in Waipahu was wiped down. The walls and counters were clean.The prices are still HIGH, but it's the price you pay for Korean Bbq. The prices are high due to rising costs of containers, staff shortages, and price of meats, fish and etc.. The food is still packed in your plate, and it's served hot, and fresh.I ordered the Fish Jun and the Meat Jun/Fish Jun combo plate..Here you choose your 4 sides and it comes with 2 scoops of rice ? plus your entree. You can share the plate ?️ because the food is really piled up.I really liked this Pearl's Korean BBQ place because, It was a clean restaurant, two the food looked really good, and the server was really nice. Price per plate is between $12-18 reasonable and you get your money ?? worth.
I used to love Pearls up until this year. They keep upping up the prices. It’s ridiculous..
I ordered meals to be delivered to my friend, the other food made it okay and my friend said it the food are great. However, the soup I ordered since they are feeling under the weather, leaked. The soup was put in a paper container and essentially will leak.
Love the quality food, banchan choices, and the portion sizes.
Small pan suppose to be ready by 6. I placed this order hours ago. It’s now 630 and still not ready. That’s ridiculous.
Kalbi is a bit too salty, great kimchi

went in two guys waiting for there order and one of the attendant ask if I need something I pointed at the cucumber pickle she said be with you in a minute Waited n waited n waited n another customer walked in they serve her before me. later they ask if I needed anthing. how's stupid is that
