Best Mexican place, I have tried out here. I'm Mexican and pretty critical when I try Mexican food. I order Birria plate and comes with rice, beans, and side of tortillas. Carne asada torta, California burrito, horchata, and mangonada.The flavor of the food was on point even with the rice, big portions with reasonable prices. Definitely recommend this place. If you like spicy, the habanero sauce is delicious. ?
As far as Mexican food goes on Oahu, this place is okay, meaning average. I try to give folks the benefit of the doubt here because I grew up in California and spent a lot of time in El Centro. However, I do expect flavor and here it was lacking. Portions are smaller in comparison to other Mexican restaurants too, and with everything, the prices seemed to have increase recently. It’s just too bad the quality didn’t shift up as well. Three stars because the staff is pretty friendly.
I have been going to El Jalisciense since I got to the island in 2018. Out of all the mexican restraunts and food trucks they are still the best! They have another location by schofield it is very good too its just different in the ways they cook the food still very delicious I love this place so much and I always reccomend my friends to this place.
Bruh, it's so good, we're definitely coming back. Great, efficient, and cheerful service. We got the elote (it comes in a 12oz cup; get it spicy, it's so tasty), California burrito (huge! with beef and potato; be careful because it comes off the grill super hot), two fish tacos (I should've gotten four), and horchata. Everything was so good, we ate it so quickly, and we're already thinking about when we'll be back. ¡Qué tan delicioso!
I got the birria taco plate and hortchata drink. Both were very good! I will def be coming here again in the future

Absolutely love the tacos and burritos. ? ?. The best ones on the island, HANDS DOWN!! I get it at least a couple of times a month. A must in my home. Loved by everyone, which is rare.Thank u ? ?!!!

Absolutely delicious! Woman who helped us was very friendly and the food was out in less than 10 minutes. We devoured it in the parking lot it was so good. The only thing i could possibly complain about is they were out of a couple different drinks but it's understandable considering most places are. It also wasnt very expensive. All in all, I highly recommend!
Asada fries were pretty good the salsa was bomb didn't have to wait long at all. If in the area I would go back...
