This was the best BBQ I've had from a restaurant since I left Texas! The brisket was moist and tender with just the right amount of smoke. The ribs were the same and came clean off the bone. The service was friendly and down home like you'd expect from good old southern hospitality! Keep it up Donnie! We're praying for you and your health. I'll spread the good word to everyone looking for comfort food that hits home!
Very nice family and atmosphere
Went to the swap meet and ate at the food truck there. The cashier seemed to be confused and the drinks were warm. Waited about 10mins for our food and the homemade Mac N cheese was dry and cold, bbq was so saturated in sauce that my bun was soggy. The best thing about the meal was the potato salad but that too wasn’t great.
Staff was polite and meat had good smoked taste. 30 min wait for counter ordering. Got rib plate: 4 ribs tender as beef jerky. Mac cheese very bland. Ordered no sauce but came sauced. Wife got rib tips: half under cooked and one like beef jerky. Also the locations is not correct for the address on Google maps. Next to Rainbow Inn in Waipahu. Step it up Donnie!!
The food and service was great. Yes, it took a little time because they serve it fresh and hot from the grill. No complaints here. Y’all should stop on by.
I work there an the food is crazy. I fell in love wit the people an the way pastor Donnie cooks not to mention the spot it self is perfect cuz omg I can't believe how much people has come in yesterday but I love it yay me an any one else that comes there.
The location is wrong
Had the pulled pork sandwich up at Geiger Park tonight - it was incredible! Probably my favorite food truck on the south side!
Best bbq on island. Even though the ribs are a bit tough. The flavor brings me back home. You can't go wrong with this truck ??.
