I was really excited to try the place and it was good. The employees were friendly to me and my daughter. I am taking away one star because they certainly do not make their own syrup. I didn’t notice it until after we left. I looked at the syrups for sale and they are all made in Vancouver Washington, apparently. They all contain preservatives. The strawberry one has added natural and artificial flavoring. Many of them have artificial color added. That’s a real bummer. They present it has freshly local made Hawaiian flavors with only fruit juice and cane sugar than you look at the ingredients and they’re full of chemicals. A real downer. In fact, I am going to give it three stars.
Ululanis is the best shave ice place on island.They have several locations, all are excellent. Expect long lines, but those lines are 100% worth it for the quality of shave ice.
Although young chronologically, these young adults have excellent customer service. The owners & trainers can be very proud of that fact. It's consistent at all of the Ululani's Shave Ice Shops. Mahalo & aloha.
OMG! Had a pineapple pina colada with ube ice cream on the bottom and it was absolutely DELICIOUS!!!! The ice is sooo soft! It doesn't feel like your eating ice. Definitely going back soon.
Best shave ice on Maui. That's the reason you usually have a line but it's worth the wait. Great flavors try the ice cream on the bottom. So good you will freeze your brain.
Very refreshing shave ice and huge portions too! We came back several times and brought the whole crew!
Aloha! This is stop 5 for the Hitchcock Ohana to hit all 7 Ululani’s locations on Maui. Holly took our orders. Son Cody and mom said it was the best of the 5 Ululanis we visited. Banyan Tree location is closed, but we did visit so it counts in my book! I think, beside having the shortest wait, the ladies gave great service, particularly Holly. She was very personable with a great smile behind her mask. In addition, the shave ice was also their most delicious, likely from the different combinations my wife and son created. Add ice cream and try the Ube flavor! I’m just proud that we were trying different flavors they would not normally try had we only visited once. But here is the biggest difference. There are 12 ice cream choices! Not two or three. Twelve! Also, the have a map of the USA and they offer pins so guests can mark where they are visiting from. There also plenty of outdoor seating and tables. For sure, this has been our favorite Ululani’s location. Mahalo from the Hitchcock ohana.
The shaved ice with their sunset flavor - passion fruit, guava and mango is very good. They put less syrup into the shaved ice so you need to go back and ask for more.
Hands down the best shaved ice ever!! There is a lot of variety of flavors to pick from. You can order off the menu or create your own.
Wow! This place is amazing. This shave ice on a totally different level! I got calamansi, guava, and passion fruit. Such an amazing combination. I don’t recommend the chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla combination…
