Wonderful pastries. Great flavor. Good coffee and fried egg sandwich. Nothing too special about the sandwich, but it had good flavor. They worked hard to have a relaxing atmosphere on the patio, but the surrounding area is not great.
Stillwells Bakery & Cafe is one of my favorite breakfast spots. I’ll usually order a breakfast sandwich & some sweet treats to-go.
Fabulous food! Definitely a favorite of the locals! There was a wait to get our breakfast, but it was worth it!
Excellent food, reasonable price. Local Boy and Fried egg sandwich were yummy. Cappuccino and flat white were very good as well.
Very delicious bakery! Had sandwiches and pizza options as well. I got the ruben sandwich and the taste was just right, not over powering. Masks are required inside, but can be removed when sitting outdoors. Cookies and pastries are delicious, ask for the ones freshly baked that day for extra freshness.
Dry mein was a huge let down, especially for $11. It’s not thick dry mein noodles. It’s basically saimin noodles, thin cut like top ramen. Not worth the price tag.The main thing Stillwell’s has got going for it is their bakery selection. I will always come back for the crème brûlée. No complaints there. I love that you can see that they use vanilla bean in the crème brûlée.
My family randomly wandered into Stillwell's yesterday, not knowing what we were in for. I'd never had dry mein before, so I tried their veggie version and thoroughly enjoyed it. My daughter ordered what turned out to be one of the most magnificent BLTs I've ever seen.But Momo, their marketing guru, explained that their chocolate-dipped creme horns have been famous for thirty years. We opted to give it a try and were thoroughly delighted. Equally pleasing was their chocolate eclair and their amazing apple tart. I told Momo that I felt I'd have to skip the sweetest-looking fruit tart because my order was already loaded with sugar and I had a great fruit tart connection back home in Indy (hello, Renee's).... "All the sugar," she said with a smile. When I opened the pastry box, she'd tucked on of those fruit tarts in. Mahalo for your hospitality, Momo! I'm sure glad I didn't miss that! I had Stillwell’s cater my wedding desserts and it blew everyone’s minds. Quite possibly the best coconut cream and chocolate cream pie I’ve ever eaten. We did both pie and cake, as I love cake and my husband loves pies. The wedding cake was a coconut vanilla cream cake. It was so soft. We had done cake tastings with 4 other bakers and nothing came close to Stillwell’s. Their cake was fluffy, light, not too sweet but amazingly delicious.I just returned for my 5 year anniversary, and while I couldn’t eat a slice of cake (they only sell them whole), the pies were still just as outstanding. HIGHLY recommend for your wedding, as well as just enjoying desserts ❤️❤️❤️
This is and excellent place to grab a quick sandwich, and maybe a cup of soup. The bakery is excellent and the staff are extremely friendly. They will tell you about interesting places to visit while on the island, many of which won't appear in tourist guides. Ask them about the beautiful beach with the black sand.
Just had a great meal here after Maui Pops concert. Close to the MAC. I had the Cobb salad and Amazing banana cream pie. Coffee with real cream and sugar cubes! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Cobb salad had crisp fresh romaine, avocado, shredded carrots, blue cheese, and cucumbers. Dressing on the side somewhat sweet. Highly recommend. Open till 8 pm Every day! Please check out this fine establishment!
