Food was very good. There was a wait to get seated. They are blocking tables to COVID distancing, so there aren't many tables available. It was worth the wait for us.
Based on previous reviews and because the locals know best, we decided to try Sam’s. I wish we didn’t. Food is average but bland. Small business with limited seating. Prices are high for what you get. Save your time and go somewhere else
Absolutely love this place. Every-time you're on Maui you have to visit. Even though they are always busy, the staff still makes sure that you are taken care of. I would also recommend the hamburger steak. It is definitely worth getting and is my favorite dish to get. If you can, try to get there around 11 o'clock in the morning, that is when it is going to be relatively empty so you can walk right in and enjoy the food.
Saw this place on food network, and stopped in to see what all the hype was about. I will say, the hype was real. My wife and I got a couple dishes to share and ordered some apps/sides as well.We stopped in after a hike, and we’re starving. Everything was insanely good and exactly what we were looking for. The flavors were insane and the waitress gave us a few pointers on how to eat some of the dishes to maximize flavor.Lastly, the prices are extremely affordable.
Best noodles I've ever had. Friendly service, great prices. You have to try the fry sauce. *Chef's kiss*
Perfect spot to go to for true local food.Banana Pancake, Loco Moco, Cheeseburger, BBQ Stick, Won Ton Min, Dry Min, Mac Salad, and Manju are all WINNERS! All this was for two people!
For me, they have the best drymein with their tastiest broth in Maui.Locals love also their anpan and azuki manju ? ? ?
Always the place you need to visit when on Maui. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the local dishes are the best on the island. Large dry, cheeseburger deluxe, bbq beef stick, and manju—winnahs!! ?
For a nice calm morning coffee and breakfast this is the spot! Friendly comfy and delicious! I didn’t have food photos this time but I’ll upload with new ones! Get the rice plate add all the meats eggs and get a mini loco!Be sure to catch them before they close at 2 and get the noodles for lunch!

The little bit of broth helps to add to flavor but definitely don't need all that broth. This won't disappoint.Service: 5/5 - Service with a smile. Super friendly staff.Ambiance: 3/5 - Sort of a hole in the wall place. There isn't indoor seating at the moment but there's some outdoor.
