This McDonald's was slowly declining from: not training the employees, charging the wrong prices, getting the orders wrong, missing item on the order and then Covid hit and they hit rock bottom: lazy, close down the bathroom, no eating and sitting, one day they didn't even open the doors to order inside, many have just used the drive thru due to the lack of customer service.
It was ok. Polite and efficient, but noticebly under pressure. With Covid it is expected. All of the business is bottlenecked into the drive thru putting all of the responsibility on one group of employees which i dont think is fair as far as wages. Service at fast food restaurants in Hawaii is almost always subpar in general, although it has gotten better over the last 10 years.
I was there it took them 4 mins to wait on me they were screaming playing in the back .when I did get waited on after the order, the cashier gave me change back but !!! Not my $11 paper money then the manager came they gave me my money no apology nor cashier didn't have a name tag on .but his name was jasper.poor service.
I love them they off me water every time I dash...
Drive thru person taking order is just not accurate in taking my order. Person passing my food to me didn't acknowledge me at all. Did not greet or say thank you. Not my best experience here.
Well I must say that McDonald's on main Street in Wailuku this morning was was nothing short of a pleasant surprise. Although the drive thru looked to be a steady line of cars the walk in for order was prompt and the young girl behind the counter friendly and helpful. It did also appear to be well cleaned and kept in side and behind the counter as well. The girl whom served us bid us a good morning and let us know of the breakfast sandwich deal. Any 2 sandwich for 6 bucks. That sounded like a sausage egg mcmuffin to me and one for my friend. Yummy it was and since it was my buddy buying the breakfast that made the mcd experience even nicer. Oh and there was a fresh water truck right outside the door and this guy gave us nice cool bottled water to drink. Aloha Robert.
Our favorite McDonald's on this side. Always fast fresh and correct
Horrible staff attitudes specially towards tourists. A couple of young Filipinia girls could not be more rude and clueless about customer service.
The wailuku mcdonalds has the friendliest staff, they always share a smile.
A very good MsDs
