Lone food truck on Kahekili Highway, right next to an Overlook with decent parking spots. There are tables for guests to enjoy meals and watch beautiful north coast scenery. This is the best spot along the highway. A speaker is playing to the tune of island music. The wind provides natural AC on a sunny afternoon.
Tried a smoothie in a frozen pineapple. It was so good that it could arguably be the best part of my vacation. Getting there was half the fun. Very windy road and sometimes just wide enough for one vehicle
Amanda has delicious food with incredible views nestled along the crazy road ! She has some great signs there that are a perfect piece of Hawaii to bring home. Looking forward to visiting her again!

We found this lunch spot during our drive on the coast - ordered a pineapple + pina colada smoothie - served in a pineapple, and a Kalua pork. Oh my goodness we inhaled the Kalua pork, hence the lack of photos, and the smoothie was fantastic and what we desperately needed on a blazing hot day. It’s also located in such a scenic spot overlooking Pu’u Koa’e. The owner was so nice and energetic too - we had a great time at this cute little rest stop before heading back into town!
This place is all about location. Amazing views!!! Its on a top of a long curvy road. No matter what time of the day you reach, you would almost want to stop and find something to eat. This place has amazing views!!!! My family and I had Shrimp plate, Kalua Pork, Veggie Curry, Veggie Burger. Shrimp plate was really really good. Guess the shrimp was cooked with the shell on charcoal directly. It had a nice burnt flavor. When I visit again, will definitely order that. The Kahlua pork was bit bland for my taste. Not a fan. The Veggie curry had a lot of turmeric in it. It was okay. Veggie burger looked great but the patty was meh! Will try cheese burger next time. They also serve freshly squeezed lime juice. Was good especially on a hot sunny day. Overall a good experience. You don't have to drive down to this place, but if you are doing this drive definitely stop here.
Perfect stop after a hike and on the way to Olivine pools. They have a vegan curry, the dirty tots (small portion) can be made vegan and the smoothies are vegan too. The smoothies are delicious! I def recommend the smoothies!
Super yummy burgers and shrimp and amazing smoothies with an incredible view and the coolest Chica dishing it up. Can't miss. Soak in the beauty of Kahakuloa with great food and the best people.
Awesome spot to get a smoothie and overlook the ocean. An incredibly kind owner was very friendly and we enjoyed her singing in the trailer while she prepared our drinks. Fun destination on a long road trip.
A perfect StOp along the narrow road!!! I got a delicious Mango and Lilikoi smoothie drink which was soo refreshing with a amazing view!!!
