I got their BBQ Chicken Mac & cheese boat about a month ago on vacation. And it was BY FAR the best thing I had that entire week. I am still thinking about it. I wish I lived in Kauai, or they had a location here in Colorado, because I have been craving it ever since. Wonderful people and wonderful food.You guys are amazing! If we’re ever visiting again we will be coming to see you!
This is the coolest shop and in my opinion a must see. Uncle D was closed for lunch the first day we went but we ended up talking about hot sauce, disc golf and booze for almost half an hour. I bought some hot sauce and told him we would come back another day for lunch. Was not disappointed when we returned. Lunch was so tasty, good price and so much food. I got pulled pork mac and cheese and it was delicious.
Oh my goodness! The Mac and cheese brisket (boat) literally melted in my mouth! So so good. When I arrived around 14:40, they pretty much were sold out of everything and I was able to get the last one.Uncle Ds also has some pretty rare disc golf discs. I grabbed a CAPTAIN RAPTOR and a ghost stamped SCORCH for a friend. Chatted with D for a bit and was a real nice dude. Thanks for the fantastic food and discs!
Friendly staff and great sandwiches! I was telling them how I was craving a spicy sandwich because it felt like the island didn’t have any spicy food. They offered to make it spicy by adding ghost peppers to my Philly cheesesteak and it was absolutely delicious! Great Mac salad too!
We were so hungry getting off our plane. We did some research and decided on Uncle D’s. As a native Carolinian this food tasted like home, dare say better. We had a pulled pork sandwich with beans and coleslaw. I’d you’re lucky enough to get the Brisket, go for it. We had it over a Mac and cheese bowl. As a moment of coincidence, I was able to grab a souvenir for my disc golf-playing brother. The service was incredible. Hit up this spot for sure! A great way to start our vacation in Kauai! I came in at 10 a.m. and it felt like he had been smoking the pork all night just for me. The pulled pork over Mac & cheese had a perfect balance. I don't normally write reviews, but had to for these guys. Aloha from Maui
Hobbled into Dustin's place to pick up some plastic circles to toss while I was on the island. Didn't bring my own along as I was still on crutches with a busted leg and wasn't sure if I'd be able to play. The universe definitely guided me to the right spot! Dustin was so welcoming and helpful in locating the molds I wanted to throw. Great conversation, awesome pro shop, and mouthwatering BBQ. It was a Friday when I popped in so I was fortunate enough to try the brisket mac bowl. Tender, smokey, savory brisket atop a rich bed of mac & cheese. Got me all juiced up and I was able to push through and play Mauka in Princeville, Lydgate & WeliWeli before my adventures concluded. Even met an awesome dude (Brian) from the same small village I'm from in Buffalo NY and his friend Chris at my first stop leaving D's shop at Lydgate Park. Wouldn't have had that amazing, welcoming experience to play with them if I hadn't geared up at Uncle D's first. Everything in it's right place. Thank you again Dustin!

Was looking for some good bbq and decided to check out this shop, it’s probably one of the weirdest yet, coolest shop I’ve seen in Kauai, I’m not a frisbee golf player but the disc’s looked really cool and the food was really good and the guy was extremely nice to me, thank you so much!
