This starbucks must be the MOST understaffed of them all- they are constantly closed midday on weekdays (from 1 pm on) with a sign on door even tho they advertise they are open.Driven here a few times from work (1:00 or 2:00 pm)Just to find them closed early with a note on the door.Totally annoying.
Frequently enjoy a Starbucks drink, but like any business ... it's hard to find exceptional help these days. The Kukui Grove Shopping Plaza (Lihue, Kauai) location barista lacked customer service and had huge attitude. We made the mistake by taking a plastic "green" drink stick on counter, and was immediately scolded for doing so. Barista, then only made 3 of our 4 drinks and kept pushing aside our 4th cup and made other orders instead of ours for 10 solid minutes. I had to inform manager of her actions, when Barista tried to intervene, only to have Manger tell her to go make drink and asked us if we wanted a refund, which we declined refund. Kudos for how Manager handled situation.
Great as always. Nice staff, correct order, great breakfast foods (oatmeal, Danish, and impossible sandwiches).
They have been very quick the last few recent visits with my walk in order. They also have a decent selection of their Hawaii Collection. Although I hear the Poipu location has more of the Hawaii Collection.
so person who took order wise very kind. exactly what you expect from.starbucks. but the two ladies behind counter rude and nasty. I put my order in and there was two people behind me. they got there food and drinks and left and I was still waiting. I went to counter to ask if they forgot my drink, and the lady said "excuse me.please.dont come up to this counter due to covid". whats covid got to do with it? my mask was on, I was behind plastic wall. stop using covid. then tell me all the other drinks are online orders. well, no they are not cause those 2 behind me ordered at same counter, just the same way I did. can people.like you stop being nasty and rude then using covid to back up your nastiness? Covid is important but there sure are no studies that show a correlation to being unkind and unpleasant towards others. its just you....not covid
11/4/21 had the nicest crew working today. So friendly, professional and said hello ?? to everyone. Awesome Starbucks at its best. Mahalo HI Starbucks you rock ????✨(6:55 am - Thur)
Very Bad service on take out order took 30min and they where not even busy can't wait when ? open's give your business to that location
Plaza location.\ Came here two times while visiting. Staff is friendly. Quick to get order and done well.\ Store was a bit messy though and bathroom is closed I’m guessing due to COVID.\ No indoor seating but outdoor seating is available.
Horrible staff. They play the music really loud then snap at you for not yelling your order loud enough at them through the screen. The mall clearly needs a new coffee shop but unfortunately Starbucks has railroaded them into a non-compete agreement. Staff clearly know this and act like a bunch of imperious queens.
Good coffee, sandwiches, and cake. Order was correct and employees were polite.
