Possibly the best burger I’ve ever had. Local Kauai beef adds a touch of flair to a classic burger that nails the basics. It could’ve used a bit more salt/seasoning and the fries weren’t all the way hot, but this didn’t detract from the experience. Definitely recommend.
Nothing to write home about per say but they did have a lot of sports on. Prices were good enough and the food was above average. if you are in a pinch for a spot you wont go wrong here.
Tourists often ask "where do the locals eat?' when visiting Hawaii. This is one of those places. You'll find Rob's Good Times Grill tucked into a strip mall on Rice Street about 2 miles from the Lihue Airport. Rob's has high quality bar food, lots of TVs showing sports, and a friendly atmosphere. You'll find multi-generational families at Rob's eating a Hawaiian Plate, a hamburger, Ono fish and chips, a BBQ platter, or a fried Ono fish sandwich. We even saw a guy in a head-to-toe Spiderman costume walk in and grab a drink at the bar. Rob's features live music Wed through Saturday: usually someone on guitar playing soft rock and Hawaiian favorites. A great stop for a solid meal when you are in Lihue.
MUST try the french dip. I ordered the burger and it was good but I ended up stealing half of the French Dip sandwich from my husband because it was delicious! Don’t be like me, order your own french dip. You won’t regret it ?
Excellent place for great bar grub. Our waiter was very attentive to our needs. Food arrived quickly. Great atmosphere or ambience if you will. Sports bar set up. I would go back in a heartbeat!
My sister brought us here during our stay. Great food and friendly staff! We will be back next trip!
MY husband and son had the fish and chips and I had chicken stir fry. Big portions and pleasant service. Great iced tea. Bathrooms and restaurant were very clean and our server was attentive. Will definitely eat at Rob's when we come back to Kauai.
We decided to try Robs based on reviews, and so glad we did. We both had the fish and chips with a side salad. It was delicious and the best meal we’ve had since arriving to Kauai. We were pleasantly surprised with the portion size, no skimping here. Everything was good, right down to the tarter sauce. We will be back.
Delicious plate lunch "Chopped Steak Plate" with rice and salad. We would love to return to try more of the menu. Nicky airy seating inside and out. Tables well spaced and good air circulation.
We were looking for somewhere to lunch/dinner on a Sunday before heading to the airport for a flight home. We were googling restaurants and Rob's popped up in the choices. We were a little skeptical at first as it said a sports bar/grill. We were looking for something more than bar food. We were very happy when we saw the menu and it had meals on it. My sister had the French Dip beef sandwich and said it was very good. I had the Chicken cutlet with rice and a salad. There was big portion of food but delicious! I would definitely return to this restaurant next visit! Everyone who served up were very personable and happy!
