All i can say is i will eat there again. It is a mom and pop restaurant. The portions are literally for 2 people. Walking is reminded me of the times i ate in singapore, thailand, and the sey helles. I found my fix for good asain.

Did a huge takeout order with them and the owners were incredibly nice. Not only did they get everything in our order correct, but the food was all delightfully delicious. We loved the pineapple roast duck and chicken with eggplant. We ate two dozen dishes here and we could not go wrong here.
Small place, big menu, reliable kitchen, good prices, open late by kauai standards, great for standard fare hawaiian/chinese. You can get their food at the bar next door.
Service is good n friendly whether dining-in or take out; prices are reasonable; n the food is EXCELLENT ! Try mix vegetables with tofu n their chicken curry FANTASTIC !!!
Quick service, great food. The kalua pork cabbage that came with the chicken katsu was a highlight
We've been annual visitors to Kauai since Y2K. On 24 Oct 2021, we went to Kauai Pasta Lihue only to fid that it was closed due to staffing shortages but the idiots had not bothered to putt his on their answering machine message! Fuming, we happened to walk by K.C.L. which was open and empty. Long story but their food was tasty, low priced and served promptly. The restaurant décor is spartan but spotless and the owners most accommodating. We'll be back! Donna and Wolf
Very average- really wanted to like this place. Too much fried food.. bbq chicken was good. Fish didn't taste fresh. Eggplant was gross.

Great food, huge portion sizes. The sweet and sour chicken was crunchy and saucy. Nice Mac salad too.
