Don't let the shabby interior make you pass on this place. The food will change your mind. I've had several sushi from places in NY, and this place is definitely unique. The purple yam and garlic chili sauce on the Holly Crab roll is a great touch. Their poke are decently sized to share. Their J on Fire roll also has a nice heat to it, but not as spicy as you'd think. Overall a great sushi spot, even if the seating area isn't the best. Would definitely suggest takeout.
We were told to go by some kind locals. We have been twice now and absolutely love it. Service and staff are wonderful and the food is amazing. The first time, 4 of us ate in restaurant and we got to-go orders for 2 other people. Second time all 6 of us went in and it was just as delicious as our first trip in. We had many types of sushi rolls, hand rolls, nigiri, the Monster poke bowl, gyoza, fried rice, pad thai and katsu chicken; everything was fresh, beautiful and so good. We will definitely go again before we leave Kauai. What a find!
Best poke I've ever had! The monster poke has a delicious ponzu sauce studded with oh so fresh chunks of ahi and salmon. Also had some green curry with chicken.. Perfect spice level and so fresh as well. Loved the Thai tapioca pudding with fresh coconut for dessert. Others in the family said that their monster roll sushi was also very tasty (I didn't try it). This place is awesome! Highly recommend.

This place is delicious. On our way back to the airport to go home and it was fresh and quick. I highly recommend.
We had just flown in from the mainland with two grandsons that were hungry. This was the first place we passed that looked good. The boys dug in on chicken and rice. We had sushi. The food was delicious. The service was fast and friendly. It's not a fancy place, but it was clean. Lots of locals eat here. I would go back.
Stopped here on our way out of town and it was absolutely incredible. I loved the yellow curry and my husband‘s sushi was bomb! The service was amazing as well which is a huge plus. It was quick and hot. So glad we stopped!!
Excellent and fast service with lots of delicious vegetarian options. We loved the crispy tofu with peanut sauce, green curry, basil stir-fry, papaya salad, drunken noodles, cold rolls with peanut sauce, and mango with sticky rice for dessert. We loved the food there so much that we ate twice at this restaurant.
It is so easy to order on line and pick up an order from Big Monster Sushi. The employees are very nice and hard working. We enjoyed our meal. I gave it a 4 star because they had to reboot the computer to access my order.
QUICK service and delicious food. Best Pad Thai I’ve ever had. My husband had the poke ahi poke bowl and rainbow roll. We’ll visit again and definitely recommend!
