My son said it’s his favorite Thai food place! But on further discussion he said it’s the only Thai food he has had. Haha! For real though it’s good. Top take out go to spot for lunch in Lihue. Recommend calling in order ahead. I usually go for the chicken satay or bbq chicken skewers and chicken summer rolls. Super fresh and yummy! In Ace hardware parking lot.
We took the summer rolls they were great! The personal is very smiling and nice. They take credit cards.
Dear Anattas, The food I ordered yesterday 7/09/2022 Saturday at your food truck in the parking lot of Ace Hardware store Lihue was very very bad. The eggplant that was used in the green curry was rotten inside, I could not eat them, they tasted awful. The green papaya salad that I ordered didn't taste good at all, I could not finish the food, nor did I want to take home for leftover food meal. I am seriously disappointed with the food I ordered, the quality was some of the worst I have experienced here on Kauai. I remember when you first opened your food truck and the food was good, now I don't see you cooking anymore and the quality of the prepared food is very low.. Yesterday a man with a mustache was cooking, I don't think he is a good cook, and the food he prepared was very poor quality. I paid 29.55 total, including a 3.00 tip, I was insulted when I tasted the terrible quality of this preparation. I will not return to your food truck, Kauai doesn't have anywhere good Thai food. Came highly recommended by a local friend, and was very satisfied. The yellow beef curry is excellent!! Stop by and try it!!
After landing at the airport and getting our rental car, this was a quick stop for dinner. Located in the Ace hardware parking lot, this food truck has a few covered picnic tables to wait and eat your food at. We both got the chicken pad see you, which was definitely just OK. Flavors are slightly bland. Portion sizes are good, but you won't leave stuffed. They do take all major credit cards, which is a bonus.
NO vegan options here at all. Almost everything has fish sauce in it & when I got the 1 thing I was assured was vegan, it had egg in it.My non vegan dining companions didn't like what they got either. Maybe it used to be good but definitely is not anymore
I think this food truck in now in Kapa’a, at the north edge of town. It makes an excellent chicken red curry, my favorite. I’ve had it twice in the past week and it’s both consistent and as good as I’ve had almost anywhere. Worth the drive, located just off the beach and there are plenty of picnic tables, parking can be tight.
If you want an experience more disappointing than your senior prom, eat here. I asked for extra sauce on my pad Thai and got dry noodles. Everything was sugary and flavorless.
This place was recommended to is by the front desk staff at the Marriott Kauai Lagoons. It was great!! We tried all three of their Curry plates and it was wonderful and tasty (but not too spicy). We have been to Thailand many times, and this comes very close to the food we get there. Their noodles were tasty and fresh. But the best was their BBQ chicken- well worth the price. We ended up eating here twice in 3 days.
