We had a fun night. The Plantation is beautiful, the service was excellent and our waiter was the best. The food was good and the prices okay. Overall a very nice experience.
It started off great, a stunning unimaginable view. Polite friendly staff, we were seated promptly at our reservation time, there is not a bad view in house, absolutely picturesque views, Waiter started off nice a friendly, we ordered our drinks they came out promptly. My wife returned back from using the facilities, & had accidentally hit her drink w/her purse as she was sitting down & everything went downhill. After that it took forever to get her replacement drink. had the lobster ravioli app, which was cold. I still didnât have a napkin we asked for a napkin 4 times, as I had to use mine to clean up the mess from the spilled drink. Our waiter never came by to check on us, to see how our apps were. Once we were done with our apps, it took about 10 mins for the busser to clear out table, the an additional 15-20 mins after we finally we able to place entree order. They were âunable to serve the ahi as the butcher had hack up the steaksâ if that was case the waiter should have started off by stating that but we didnât find that out until I was ready to place my order. Not a huge deal, the shrimp scampi sounded good, so I order that, wife order the filet âmedium-wellâ. While we are waiting for our entrees again our waiter never came by to check on us to see if we needed anything, more drinks, nothing. Now weâre about an hour half into our meal. We get our food, our entrees come out, they have good presentation besides the fact you can tell my wifeâs steak is burnt and cooked well done, looked like a hockey puck. She cuts into & it confirms The looks Scampi didnt had 0 flavor I have tasted microwave scampi that more flavor than what they served While the waiter did ask us about the food he did as he was walking by didnât stop to ask, as if he didnât careAs he did not come by or visit our table after that, the busboy finally came by to clear our entrees as about 4 bites out it, weâre to ask him to ask our waiter for check. Finally 10 minutes late our check!
Really great view of the golf course, mountains, and ocean. Manager came by to check on us, appreciated that touch as I don't know of any other establishment that still make that effort.
