We heard from multiple people in Lahaina that this place had great food for a more casual night out. And that is exactly what we got. We were not feeling up for a sit down experience, so we ordered take out. It was hot and ready for us and the food was great!
I’d venture to say this is the best Italian/Hawaiian fusion restaurant in Maui.Kirsten was prompt and knowledgeable, giving two great recommendations on cocktails. We ordered the caprese and the Bianca pizza. Both were sublime, the pizza dough was on point.I was hesitant to eat Italian in Hawaii, but I ended up being happily impressed!Well done, sale Pepe, until next time.Ben fatto, sale Pepe. A hiki i ka manawa aʻe ❤️
Great Italian food and service. Small plates and pizza are excellent. Suggest reservations, however there is a charge if you change or cancel.
We came here on a recommendation from my diving instructor. The food was beyond delicious! I can't wait to go back!
Our server was very personable and delightful to work with. There were few vegan options, BUT, the huge salad delicious and the bruschetta (for me, minus the cheese), absolutely amazing. Hubs had the special seafood (swordfish over zucchini noodles) and he was very pleased. Gelato/sorbetto for dessert.
This restaurant was highly recommended by a number of the locals we talked with during our stay. Given these recommendations, we decided to give the restaurant a try. The evening turned into a marathon night. 2-1/2 hours later we left the restaurant disappointed. Overall, the service was good, the drinks and food were good, but the time between salads/appetizers and dinner was more than 45 minutes. (The kitchen forgot our order). Staff did try to make up for the oversite, but it didn't work. $400.00 check for a party of 4 did not match the dining experience. If you ask about the food, we would say it was good Italian but not great. Maybe if the food had been served in a timely fashion, the experience might have been better. Overall, we would not recommend this restaurant, although it was fully booked on the night we visited.
My group of 5 came on Monday evening and I would recommend making a reservation before coming. I ordered their pasta special Fettuccine al Coniglio ($32) because of how well described and delicious our waiter explained it and indeed it was very delicious that I was crying tears of joy! It was my first time eating rabbit but I would highly recommend it! The rest of my friends loved what they ordered as well. It took about 20 minutes or so to recieve the food (two of my friends ordered lasagna ($29) and the server let us know ahead of time) but well worth it! Our waiter was very friendly and she made sure to check on us even though it was busy. I did not try the dessert but my friends liked it. Total came to about $200 with tip for 5 people. Would come by again!
incredible food & cocktails & vibes. Our server was so nice and thoughtful and we had the loveliest birthday celebration. Would recommend!
Great fresh pasta. Service was very good and friendly. Very good wine list. Had a bruschetta appetizer that was terrific. Only had to wait a minute to be seated.
Not sure what was going on. Our server was treating us as an afterthought. Took forever for her to even notice we were there. Food was fine. Nothing special. Service was lackluster. We were underwhelmed.
