Do not go there expecting what they are advertising on the menu or you will be disappointed. They have a limited menu that is subpar. It is loud because the guests use it for a pool entrance. Highly not recommended.

I made this reservation for a birthday dinner with sunset view based on the 4+ star rating of 800+ reviews. DO NOT BELIEVE THE POSITIVE REVIEWS. You definitely don't need a reservation for this place. It is at the end of a hallway, in a hotel lobby, and is the pass through to the pool and beach ... right through the middle of the restaurant. The ambience is a poolside cafe. The menu is limited and the food expensive for such a lousy setting. With a reservation (not needed) we were seated right next to the walkway to the beach with all sorts of "unpleasant" views that come with people heading to and from the pool, and next to screaming young children. The service was good ... but that's the only real positive comment I can make. We won't ever go back.
The restaurant was beautiful and had a great ambience. Service was excellent. The appetizers were a pricy for the amount we got. The food was good. Not very many vegetarian options. The steamed fish was great. For the price we paid it was not the best steak weâve had. The meat was little bit chewy. My husband got the seafood cioppino which was great as well.
I booked this restaurant due to the menu I read online. Once physically at the restaurant, the menu did not reflect what I read online. Unfortunately, we left without ordering dinner. The menu selections were not appealing. When four people cannot choose a dinner selection, what does that say about the new menu. The server was so sweet, that we went ahead and ordered a drink. She apologized about the new menu. She said that the online menus had not been updated. Upon entering the resort complex, we were unable to even find the restaurant. There were no signs anywhere. That was our first sign. I would not recommend this restaurant.
We went back this time despite not staying at the Royal Lahaina Resort because we loved the açaí bowl our previous stay. Sadly they took it off the menu. Everything has increased in price significantly. But most items are tasty just be prepared for the âsticker shockâ!
I loved that they had a Beyond Burger for a vegan like me.
The Kanaapali plate was a nice variety.

Pictures made me believe that this was a high class, nice restaurant with good food but it was not! Will not be coming back. I couldnât even eat the food.
They were very accommodating and the atmosphere was wonderful! Their desserts are the best!
