Really good, if a little pricey! Apparently the salmon is the only fish they fly in, so upon retrospect, maybe go for more local fish. Still, all of the fish dishes tasted great; can get crowded during rush hours, so it's a matter of luck whether you get a table. We came around 1:45 and caught the tail end of rush hour—luckily got some seats.
We were in Maui for 10 nights on our honeymoon. This was my favorite meal of the entire trip. We went for lunch after our zip-line guide recommended it. The Maui burger is out of this world. The value is insane too. Such good prices for the Lahaina area. It can get crowded, so you might want to go for an early or late lunch to avoid the rush. When we return, this will be one of our first stops.
We cannot have a trip back to Lahaina without hitting this place at least once. Last time, we went twice. This place always brings it with great service, food and environment. We usually drop by once as I had mentioned, this time three times within a week. An all time favorite on the island of Maui.
You want the best taste possible; put this on your list of places to go. Basically shoes optional, walk in and 3 people on the grill making your wonderful order. My wife said; she had never tasted such fresh fish and it was prepared like a 4-5 star restaurant without dressing up, have fun.
We heard this was a good place for fresh fish and were not disappointed. In spite of it being the dinner hour we were able to order fairly quickly and was able to get an outside table. The food was freshly prepared and didn't take too long to have it served. Members of our group ordered shrimp, ono or mahi (each prepared differently) and the food was served hot and fresh and the portions were generous. We will definitely return here for another meal.
We ordered the fresh catch and seafood salad togo. Honestly I was so surprised by the portion. I didn't expect the salad this big. The fish is good. I would go back to try something else.
The food is as good as it’s reputation. Pay more for the dinner portions it is worth it. We ordered the clam chowder, fish & chips & shrimp tacos. Everything was really good. The shrimp tacos were outrageously good. My husband liked the clam chowder over other restaurants we’ve tried on Maui.
Excellent food good prices good atmosphere. I had the seafood pasta - amazing. I have a good appetite and didn’t finish it
One of our favorite Maui spots. Never been disapointed. Seafood pasta is my go to, fish and chips for the lovely wife.
Unless you can catch a rare street spot open, Parking near the Paia Fish Market costs $8.00 per hour. Handicapped access was adequate, but you have to order at the counter. The menu selection was good. We ate there twice. I had the fish of the day both times. The first time I had Mahi-mahi. It was perfect. The second time I had ono. Both times the fish was grilled to perfection. The drink selection was fabulous, and price were quite reasonable. The staff was super. I like table service and free parking otherwise this was outstanding restaurant.
