Family of six stopped by our last night in Lahaina and wished we had discovered this gem earlier. We ordered burritos, quesadillas, fish tacos, chicken tacos and all were delicious! Service was quick and staff was friendly. Highly recommend! Keep in mind… It is a cash only establishment so come prepared
Delicious food. Left is the fish taco, right side is the cow tongue. Rice and beans were flavorful. Don’t forget to add lime, pickled onions, and pico de gallo too!
I really wanted to like this place. Cash only. No problem. They tried to jip me when they handed change back to me for my order and looked at me weird when I pointed it out. Didn’t even apologize. Just handed the correct change back to me. Like, I did the crime because I know math?! The other guy who was on the grill looked weirdly at the cashier who took my order and tried to steal from me. Count your cash when they give you change back. I was trying to tip them and that’s how I noticed that I was short changed. Well definitely not coming back here. Shrimp tacos were small but not bad. The paia fish market we went to was better for the same price anyway.
Visited last Summer and my wife still talking about it. We ordered a few tacos each and truly loved them all. We are returning next month and will certainly stop in again to enjoy more tacos. Give them a try!
Tacos to go and tasty too! The fish tacos may be the best but all are very delicious. Still a good price even with all the high prices at most restaurants. Many local places are out of business, but Ono Tacos is still going.
Best shrimp burrito I’ve ever had!
Fish tacos were not good. Fish was dry, didn’t even taste like fish. We asked for chips and guacamole, the chips were stale, the guacamole was not good.
Shrimp Burrito is a must try!! Absolutely delicious, tacos de lengua and chicken quesadilla excellent as well. We are so glad we stopped and tried this food it was delicious. It is a cash only place so come prepared!
Everyone in our family of six had taco plates (shrimp, fish, shredded beef) except my daughter, who had a quesadilla, and our eldest, who chose a shrimp burrito. Flavors were good and the prices were reasonable (for Maui). I will warn you, however, we had to buy extra burritos for our two eldest (19 and 17) sons -- the regular portions were just not enough food for them.
Delicious tacos, great service. Had the shrimp taco and al pastor taco with rice and beans. So so so good. Will be back!
