This is our 4th time at the luau. Each time it gets better. The food is never ending and delicious. Our servers (Chris and Jackie) were awesome and never missed a beat. No other luau can even claim to be competitive with Old Lahaina Luau.
This was the first luau I’ve been to and I thought it was great! I was with a large convention group so I don’t know if the format was the same as if I had attended on my own, but it was a great time. The food was really good and our waiter Spencer was great. There was another guy helping him and I don’t think I ever heard his name, but he was so patient and informative when someone at our table asked about poi. The dancing was amazing. Such talented people! My husband, daughter (14) and I enjoyed it so much and would recommend it.
It was a wonderful experience. The service and ambience was impeccable. The food was amazing. The cocktails could have been better. The dance performances were beautiful. The sunset views are amazing here ?
Beautiful experience! So glad we got to attend this and watch the sun going down.Food was decent but found the lemon fish a little too strong. Overall, there was more than enough food and the staff were great.Would recommend to others!
Fantastic night out! We loved our night at the old Lahaina Luau. A perfect blend of delicious food and drinks with beautiful views, fantastic dancing, and fascinating history. Our server Noa, was friendly, fast, and gave us some great recommendations for other things to do on the island. The leis we got upon arrival were beautiful and kept well for a couple days. The food was timed well, didn’t feel like we were eating during the main show but had great breaks for entertainment. Our favorite dishes were the two pork dishes, poke, and the guava butter with tarp rolls. We definitely hope to come back, is a wonderful night out for the whole family. The entertainment was great, fun, educational, and interactive.
This was a highlight of our week in Maui. It is worth the price.The show is a wonderful history lesson through Hula and dance. This is not like other Luau in Hawaii and was fantastic. The dancers are real professionals and engaging from beginning to end.The food was equally as great. At the time we went it was a plated meal but the food just kept coming. We got to have some of everything and our server was right to tell us to pace ourselves. The many appetizers and the seafood were the best part, followed closely by the steamed pork! A real Hawaiian treat. Just make sure to save room for dessert.The sunset was as beautiful as anywhere and framed perfectly by the trees, torches, and rocks.If you have a camera, skip the printed professional photo they offer for $20. It wasn't as good as our own pictures and there is always someone else willing to trade taking pictures of your whole group.
