Delicious lunch. We loved it. We got the chicken Katsu and fried fish. Everything was top-notch. They use compostable and m/or recyclable materials, which is highly appreciated. Fair prices. Friendly service. I would definitely go back. Only downside is they only accept cash, but I wouldn’t take away any stars for that. Thank you very much!

Tasty food, big portions and the best Hawaiian mixed plates. The locals frequent this place. We come here at least twice when we visit Maui. We're so happy that the pandemic didn't cause them to close up shop.
Food scores a 5. Not enough space to sit and eat ... still worth it. Hubby had Mahi Mahi Lemon Caper Sautee. I had the Beef Black Bean Chow Fun. And an order of egg rolls. Fresh and scrumdilly!
We ordered the Ono with lemon caper sauce & sundried tomatoes and the Fish combo. Both were prepared well. Portions are very good. The fish was nice & fresh. Also ordered the Caesar salad which was good sized. Overall, very good value compared to a sit down restaurant which would cost twice as much for less food. Will be back next time we're in Maui. BTW, it's Cash Only & closed Sundays.
Flawlessly cooked, deliciously seasoned vegetables perfectly complimented the chicken katsu and Korean pork ribs. I ate this wonderful dinner on my hotel patio with an ocean view. The generous portion is enough for me to have lunch for the next day! Absolute heaven. Service was fast and friendly. This is a cash only establishment.
We ordered take-out for dinner. It was very crowded and the lady taking the order was definitely trying to move the line along. Know what you want when you get ready to order and be prepared to not ask a lot of questions. Our meals: Korean BBQ chicken - this is thigh meat I think, with the skin on. I cut the skin off and I loved it. Teriyaki beef - this was very good. Kung Pau Shrimp - my husband loved it. Fish and chips - this was pretty good. We all said we would get our dish again. Sides: macaroni salad - good; grilled veggies - good; steamed rice - this is rice....it was just fine. We ordered a side of egg rolls and liked them. We tried to order some shrimp fried rice and were told they don't serve fried rice, even though I saw it on the menu. All in all, we enjoyed our food and will return on our next visit.
We stopped one day for lunch. My Korean style chicken bbq was good, not great. Plenty of food. The grilled vegies were poor at best and about 80% squash. Staff was cordial at best.
The fish sandwiches are horrible at this place. Very dry with no dressing. Get the eggrolls as they are delicious.
We have been getting takeout from this place every trip to Maui. Every year we hope its still there. Every year it’s great. The prices are very reasonable, service is fast and the fish is better than most of the sit down restaurants on Maui. The panko crusted Mahi-mahi is just perfect! There is about as much atmosphere as a gas station. You provide that your self.
