We were so happy to find Fond open and finally try it, wow! What a spectacular meal we had. Sieny was a very friendly and cool server, it is clear to me they really care, all of the staff were real nice. The fish portions were solid and delicious, we wish them all the best success! We like the taco shop and Joey’s in the Napili Plaza also very good!
This restaurant is very good with good service from a friendly staff. Only sorry we didn't have the option to come more than once for dinner and once for lunch, as it was closed our last two days in Maui. Can highly recommend!
The food was fantastic! We came for a late lunch and everything was delicious. Started with ahi poke nachos and lettuce rolls with braised pork, tomato marmalade and Hawaiian onion. Great representation of local flavors! Entrée number one is seared garlic prawns bento box. Entrée number two is seared Mahi bento box.
delicious! Bento boxes were a very big hit with 4 of us, with the 5th ordering a yummy hamburger. The pork lettuce wraps were amazing. The service was really quick and accommodating.
This is a good restaurant in a strip mall. It was close to our condo so we were eager to try it. We tried the Tuna Bento Box which was full of flavor and had a nice quality of Tuna. The Cattle Sirloin and Glazed Broccoli was really great and enjoyed by both of us. Restaurant ambiance is nice but a bit dark. Service is good and pricing is reasonable.
We stopped in for a quick lunch in the middle of a few adventures. We had great burgers and a bento box. There was one young lady working as the waitress and she was remarkable. She was handling all of the takeout orders and the in-restaurant diners (at least 10 tables) and she did it efficiently and effortlessly. She was also happy to assist with questions from all of the tourists in the place and recommended off the beaten path places to see. Would strongly recommend this restaurant for affordable and wonderful food and service.
Nice, understated but welcoming interior. Good service.Burgers were outstanding, which was nice because I had high expectations. Fries were also terrific.Very reasonably priced given the quality.
Need a quick to go local food spot ….. fresh bento to go …. ordered a pork & crispy chicken bento to go for the beach…. did not disappoint it was excellent while sitting at Napili Beach
Had the fried chicken last night! Everything was really good. Crispy chicken, creamy mac & cheese, light biscuits, and fresh ceasar salad. Sorry we waited to try Fond until our second to last night. Will definitely try them again when we return in March 2023! Surprised at the number of people who got crabby because they didn't have a reservation or didn't call ahead. It's worth a little preplanning! ALOHA!
Visited Fond on the recommendation of a friend. It was the best dining evening of our week on Maui. Arrived about 7PM on Friday evening. Were greeted and seated promptly. Although the restaurant doesn't have a full bar yet the wine and beer were sufficient for the food served. We had appetizers and shared the sirloin bowl. The food was excellent and the service very good. If you're into Asian Fusion, I would highly recommend a visit to Fond.
