The view of Black Rock is spectacular. The Mai Tais are strong, fresh and tasty. The food is fine.
The staff were very attentive. It was so nice to enjoy a meal with these stunning views. The Island Chopped salad was delicious and a very generous portion.
Quality of food for a beach side grill was very good, and the views of the ocean spectacular. Service was great and our host Mari very attentive. We had the Quesadilla with pork, and the Ahi Poke Bowl. Both were very tasty. Great place to go mid-afternoon for a quick bite and a good drink.
Went there a couple of times. They have awesome drinks, and the food was excellent and reasonably priced.
We are staying at the kaanapali beach hotel and can’t find anything vegan that is good. But we tried the cliff dive grill, finally heathy vegan options. Super nice people who work here and wow an amazing spot to watch the sunset.
Pricey but tasty, with a fantastic view. The fish tacos were good (perhaps slightly bland). Our waitress was really great. Super friendly and quick, fun to chat with and checked on us regularly. We came during lunch time and it was busy but not crowded. Drinks were good.
This bar, with surfboard tables overlooking Black Rock, is the best "Welcome to Hawaii" imaginable. Especially upon arrival from the mainland, we kick our feet onto the railing and watch the cliff jumpers while sipping a mai-tai or a Bikini Blonde, looking forward to cliff jumping ourselves the next day.
Had the Lime Coconut drink at happy hour. Delicious!!! Enjoyed the cliff diving ceremony but what really struck me was the guitar playing and the hula dancer. She was so graceful and beautiful. Wish I could see it every day.
The waiters & the atmosphere were amazing ...& the food- we ate here often because it was such a great place!
My food was o.k. but the nachos were terrible, the cheese (if you could call it that) made the nachos soggy within minutes. We really only went to watch the black rock cliff diver which can be viewed if you are sitting in the right area. Cliff diver was 10-15 minutes, not a big must have for any future references.
