Large portion of a lunch special with delicious tofu and other vegetarian options. Super friendly and attentive staff! Couldn’t believe the place was empty on a Sunday at lunch. 12/10!
Was looking for Chinese food near the hotel and came across China Bowl. Ordered the Teriyaki chicken with white rice and my husband ordered the fried rice with shrimp, chicken and pork. Mine could’ve had more rice but other than that we were both happy with the flavor and it seemed fresh.
We had a light supper at China Bowl. This little unassuming place in a strip mall is deceptively good. For Maui the prices are reasonable, and the staff is very friendly. Definitely try the potstickers.
Simple settings. Courteous, no-nonsense informal service. Great quality of food. They are willing to customize, ingredients, spiciness, all into tasty final products. Those looking for vegetarian Chinese options - look no further!
China Bowl offers a relaxed vibe, quick service, and tasty Chinese food. The tofu with vegetables prepared with spicy garlic chili is 5 stars. Vegetable beef also excellent. Decor features Chinese Bronze Age early writing system. Ambiance is very casual. Good sized portions for hearty appetite, and great for a quick meal.
There are not many different food options around Kaanapali Maui (most just offer burgers and fish tacos) so we initially felt lucky to find an asian place. However, the fried rice could have used more salt, sweet and sour chicken would be great with more sauce and egg rolls were not as good what we have had before at other asian restaurants.
We have been here a couple of times and the food is always good! The service is very quick! The food is always fresh.
Everything was delicious! Orange tofu, fried green beans, eggplant in garlic sauce - outstanding!
