Just like others said, they have really good food. (I’m Asian)We had Kung Pao Chicken, General Tso’s Chicken, Shrimp with vegetables.Everything was freshly made & had really good flavor.Note that as of today, June 16, 2022 they only accept to-go orders / dining room is closed I’m assuming to prevent the spread of Covid & keep people safe.

We try to eat at China Boat at least once per trip to Maui. Due to Covid it has been four years. The food is still fresh and tasty! Recommend calling ahead and getting it to go. Even after a 10 minute trip home, it was still hot and delicious! Some of the best chow mien we've had - noodles are thicker and homemade. Sauce not at all greasy like some chow mien can be. Also had the Honey Walnut Prawns, Mu Shu Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, Fried Rice, and Pot Stickers. Plenty of food for five. Wish they still delivered, but not a bad drive from most of West Maui. So after a day in the sun, and you dont feel like cooking, China Boat is a great option!

We had a friend get takeout for the four of us one night while on Maui and with all of the restaurants that have gone, China Boat still makes great food. We shared four entrees, Cashew Nuts Chicken, Shrimp with mixed vegetables, Broccoli beef and another noodle dish I cannot exactly remember. What I do know is ALL were delicious and there was a good amount of leftovers from the four of us. Thanks China Boat!!!!!!

What an incredible surprise. From the outside, the place looks a little unimpressive ;however, the food was divine. Seriously THE best war wonton soup I’ve had EVER in my life. Fresh vegetables (ridiculously fresh like just garden picked fresh, broth was sublime and just crazy good). Dishes and sides were ample portions and everything was just so tasty my palate was overwhelmed. Service was fast and staff incredibly friendly. Highly recommend!

Best Chinese food on Maui! Super fast and reasonably priced. Great staff. The Udon Noodles and Garlic chicken were amazing

I really loved the food at this place, and so did the rest of my family, even my brother who is very picky. The only thing about this place was that they only had takeout, so you couldn’t eat there. The place really looked nice, but it’s totally fine because it was due to Covid. The service was fine, and while we waited we went to the little beach that is just across the street, and watched the sea turtles, which I really recommend you do while you wait for your food.

The food is excellent. They are having issues with help and getting dinning room back to normal due to Covid. The host and owner are very nice people and help with making experience as pleasant as possible. The food speaks for itself.

Delighted this Chinese/Japanese restaurant survived the epidemic. We always visit this hidden gem during our vacation. Tucked away on the lower shore road, it offers take out plus limited patio dining with about five tables. We ate our dinner there and enjoyed hot egg flower soup, cashew chicken (meat was moist not overcooked) and fried rice with veg/beef/pork, etc.--service was excellent as was the food!

This place has fantastic food. My friend Becki who’s lived on Maui for many years gets takeout a lot from them and luckily we picked up dinner here on The way home from the airport for my first night on Maui. What a treat and because it was huge servings, we enjoyed breakfast leftovers the next day. Couldn’t be more grateful for this place. Mahalo

We happened upon China Boat on our last night in Maui; what a treasure! We only had the option of dining on the patio due to Covid but it was still perfect! Lots of easy access parking. We ordered crab wontons, walnut shrimp and house fried rice with iced tea and lots of Diet Coke (served with a lid and cup of ice and cans). Tons of food for our party of two. Grace is the owner and was such a delightful lady! We are fans and will return next visit without a doubt! Dinner was $60 with tip and was the best food we’d had during our two week stay. The food at the resorts has become exceptionally expensive and below par and declining for a couple of years now. Seek the locals; it’s worth the effort!
