Decent. That’s what I can say. Not gross but certainly not good. Ululani ‘s was way better. The guy hardly put any syrup on our shave ice. For two extra dollars for a scoop of local ice cream, you get a tiny dab of soft serve in the bottom. I don’t hardly consider that a scoop of local ice cream. I supposed they call it local in that it came out of the soft serve machine right in front of you. They also charge a dollar extra if you want natural flavors. I guess at least they give you the option. Our rainbow shave ice was the palest rainbow I’ve ever seen. Plenty of white ice that had not been touched by the flavoring. The only saving grace was that there was a little bit of ice cream at the bottom to sweeten up those disgusting white bites. We certainly won’t be back.
Horrible experience.Two angry people working with absolutely no people skills. Took better part of 45 minutes to order with only a few folks ahead of us in line just to find out many items were not available.Not worth the time or cost.
We had lunch at Down The Hatch and got a 15% coupon for Breakwell Shaved Ice. Which I am glad I tried their shaved ice. It is so yummy! I highly recommend the Tiger’s Blood flavor and volcano flavor.
Definitely not the best shave ice we had but still good. The 15% off after having dined at Down the Hatch was a nice bonus!
We ordered the pineapple shaving ice with coconut ice cream and it was delicious! We ordered the small one and it was pretty big- worth the price. The guy who helped us was friendly and even asked us if we wanted to try anything. Great service.

We were so excited to try a shave ice and Breakwall did not disappoint us! We ended up there during their happy hour and couldn't resist trying one of the adult shave ice options. Pina Colada shave ice is a must to try!
Man, this place does not chintz on the pours for the adult shave ice. I personally loved them, but if you don't like your drinks strong, you may want to ask for more juice and less alcohol. It's definitely a unique option though. The non-alcoholic ones are also delicious. Only drawback is that they only seem to ever have one person working, and the service does end up being very slow to the point that people in line left because they were tired of waiting. Also note that if you show your receipt from Down the Hatch you get 15% off of your shave ice purchase.
Best shave ice i've had. i had half volcano and half tigers blood. we also had the acai bowl and it was very delicious.
It was my first time at down the hatch since I am at the island! I came with my friends and we didn’t know what drinks to order. We ask one busser and he recommended the shave ice with alcohol! Great call we loved the Margarita! Mahalo Federico.
