This is my favorite place for shaved ice in Hawaii. We have been to several others on Maui and other islands and this is by far the best. It tastes fresh, like the actual fruits vs a flavored mix.
We visited several Ululani locations during our recent trip to Hawaii but this was definitely our least favorite location. The breeze stirred up a TON of dirt and by the time we ended our short visit we were all covered in a coat of dirt and knew it must have gotten into our shave ice as well. The "farmers market" next tour was also just a small, fairly dirty location to get produce. Just not worth the visit. I'd recommend picking a different location if you're looking for Ululani Shave Ice which we love!
Really great flavors! The regular size is huge so if it’s your 1st time getting shaved ice I suggest getting the smallest size! Great prices too !
We'd never tried Shaved Ice, but had heard it was a Must Do while in Maui, so we chose this place. The line was pretty long, but it moved along at a good clip. My wife had their Local Motion, while I tried the Root Beer Float. The shaved ice isn't like a sno-cone at all. It's very soft, and dissolves with the copiously applied flavor, releasing it into your mouth in a festival of sugary fun. No, I'm serious - it's really good, and the flavor lasted to the last we could get out of our bowls. Would I do this again? Oh yeah!
Aloha! Day 2 on the island and the Kihei location was our second of 7 Ululani Maui locations to hit. Everyone tried new flavors and also enjoyed the bakery next door that is also owned by the Ululani group. The line moved slower here, but the wife was able to pass the time shopping in their gift shop. Mahalo
A bit of a long wait but so worth it! Absolutely delicious. Amazing flavor and texture. Much better than the other shave ice we had on the island. Can’t wait to go back!
So nice my wife made us stop twice! (Really 3 times on our trip ?).Their shave ice and flavors are amazing. You can’t go wrong with the rainbow ? and a scoop of ice cream ?
Delicious shaved ice that is not overly sweet. You can purchase syrups to take home in the store next doors. Lots of recommended combinations or make your own!
Awesome shave ice and the ice cream was so good. Highly recommend going to Kihei cafe, Da Kitchen, or Huli chicken then here for desert.
Finally had the chance to try the shave ice at Ululanis. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Ice cream was wonderful and the syrup flavors tasted more like fresh fruit than the other stand that I tried. It's worth the wait in line.
