The best shaved ice! We loved the cotton candy and root beer with sweet cream. We will definitely come back for more before we leave Maui, and will probably never eat another snow cone on the mainland again!
A small stand alone hut within the parking lot of a strip mall. Service was very good. Shave ice wasn't quite as good as the other place I visited during my trip. The ice wasn't shaved quite as fine and they weren't as generous with the syrup or the portion size as the other shop. Still very good, just not amazing.
If you like really finely shaved ice, with generous portions, and both standard and unique, all natural flavors, this is the place for you. Absolutely recommend!
Compared to other shave ice on the island, this place was very generous with their ice cream and syrup toppings. The owner was extremely friendly too. My favorite shave ice place on the island!
We didn't try the shaved ice but had 7 different kids of cookies and one of the banana breads and these are by far the best cookies and banana bread we've ever had. Owner is super nice the rest of the staff is very friendly. Highly recommended - we came back twice and will definitely do so again next time we are in Maui.
Apparently their Dole Whip machine has the reliability of a McDonalds ice cream machine so it wasn't available, but their shave ice was good. I got the customer favorite and the kids ate it pretty quick. Convenient location across from Kamala Park.
Best shave ice we had on our whole trip. We tried several places around the island and this place was by far the best. From what i understand they make their own flavors? I may be wrong but this place by far put the most love into their shave ice. Definitely our fave!
I went with my teenage kids and we all loved our shave, especially the rootbeer float and the chinese plum powder!
The teen girls that were working the night we came were having a giggly time but it just made them more endearing. They gave us recommendations on flavors and served it with a smile. We opted for the pineapple ice cream in the bottom but decided it wasn't our preference. Could have used a little more of the syrups on the ice but over all it was enjoyable.
The best shave ice we had all week was here. The ice is delicate and soft, yet dense and the flavors are added on in the right amount so you don’t end up with a soup at the bottom or plain ice on the sides. Awesome family owned shave ice shack!!
